Chapter 1: Begin The Trip
June 6th, 2014
It was summer now, me and my friends decided to have a two weeks vacation in Mercuris, a beautiful town. We heard that Mercuris was full of animals like birds, fish or else. At 8:00 AM, my friends, Tom and Peter, had arrived my small house to start the vacation. All of us had packed a lots of equipment to stay in Mercuris for two weeks. The distance from my house to Mercuris was quitely far away, so we used my uncle's camping van to solve the distance problem. In three of us, only Tom knew how to drive a car, because he had a driver license. We started packing our luggage in the van and jumped into the seat. Now, it was 8:24 AM, we left my house and went to Mercuris town.
We have entered the highway road and saw an amount of cars on the roads. I was looking into the map to position the route to Mercuris when Peter take some rest on the table's seats. Behind the driver and the passenger's seat, there was a table, a mat, some sleeping bags, a cupboard, a small toilet and a little kitchen. We often rested in the camping van when it was 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. If we couldn't go back to our rest villa, we could stay inside the van. I opened the window and feel the fresh air and the cool wind.
At 10:30 AM, we stopped at a small restaurant to have lunch. We ate some bowls of rices and some fish. We then drank some Coke and slept in the van until it was 1:45 PM.
Tom woke up at half past one and washed his face. Then, he drove the van into the roads and left the restaurant. I woke up 10 minutes later and helped Tom. When I looked into the map, the van almost arrived Mercuris. With the current speed, we would arrive the beautiful town at 3:00 PM. Peter took his phone out and listened to some musics. I heard some nightingales singing on the van's rooftop. The "song" was great and it made me feel relaxed.
Later, I saw a board that said: " Mercuis: 2km straight".
Tom drove the car into the national route that leaded to Mercuris. 15 minutes later, it was 2:50 PM, we have arrived Mercuris.
