Chapter 1
Sydney's p.o.v
Hi I'm Sydney Trent. I'm 17 year old and I would be starting high school today. I'm so excited to start Greenville high school for two reasons. One: it has a huge library. Crazy reason right? Well I'm a die hard fan of reading. Reason two: the school is an elite school with very little population. I hate crowded places. I'm what you can call a nerd except the fact that I don't use glasses. My family is a middle class family but I'm able to attend this prestigious school due to the fact that my dad and his boss are high school friends so he decided to help us though I've never seen him before.
My dad took me to school.He zoomed off immediately I got down from the car. I felt very shy so I decided to put on some glasses. I call them "cover twins". I put on my cover twins and stepped into the premises. Wow! The school was extremely spacious and had a nice touch of colours. It also had flowerbeds designed to spell Greenville High. I loved the external decor. Inside the school was also a masterpiece.
I kept looking around until I bumped into some girl. Her skirt was very short and she was chewing gum very loudly. I looked at her name tag and her name was Tania Sherri.
Me: (stutters)I.....I......am......sorry Tania.
Tania: {angry} are you a blind bat? Do you keep your eyes in your pocket? How dare you step on these new shoes? Do you know how much they worth?
Me: I'm truly sorry. I'm new here so I was quite lost.
Tania; who cares? I want to you to apologise properly
Me: how?
One of the girls standing beside her said" kneel, put your forehead on the ground and say sorry"
Okay that was like an insult to me. Before mum died, she told me to always be gentle but if it requires aggression, then I should be aggressive.
Me: Are you in your right senses, who do think you are? Queen Elizabeth?
Tania: Are you referring to me? Do you know who my dad is?
Me:{sarcastically} no. Is he Joe Biden?
The other girl: no.
Me: then he must be Donald Trump?
The other girl; no
Me: then I don't care. Get out of my way.
And with that I stumped off towards the hallway, with no place in mind.
