Summary

I'm a student who likes to write small stories and I just wanted to mess around and share this ongoing one that I'm still working with actual people and not just my stuffed animals. Basically this story is a fantasy, adventure with a small amount of romance that at first takes place in California, Its two main characters are Diesel and Felony. Diesel, a teenager who's father was killed by a crusader (Aka) the "Devils", after Diesels father was killed his mother grew to hate the crusaders, but unfortunately neither her 2 children know the truth. Felony, a crusader, and a proud one at that, hates anyone who's not a crusader because both her parents were killed by the norms. But unfortunately she doesn't know the whole truth either. Two individual people who know absolutely nothing about the existence of the other. Until a tragedy strikes and they have to set aside their differences and survive together with their growing attraction to each other or die alone. P.S. I am always open to- in fact I NEED feedback from you guys please. Hope you enjoy it!

Prologue

The white room, desolate, quiet and massive. So quiet you could hear the drop of a pen. The girl, hollow and basically microscopic in the enormous room. She opened her mouth and attempted to speak but no sounds came out. She put her hands to her throat and tried once more but again nothing. Deep breaths, deep breaths. She thought, trying to keep herself calm. The girl never did mind a nice quiet place but the silence in the room made her feel uneasy. As she started looking around for a way out she heard a soft pitter patter of footsteps. Whipping her head around she scanned the room but saw nothing but the uncomfortable emptiness of the space around her. Warily refocusing on finding the exit she walked around, aimlessly searching around the never-ending room for any indication of an exit but saw none. Pitter patter.

The girl froze, looked left, looked right, nothing. Pitter patter, pitter patter, PITTER PATTER, PITTER PATTER. The sound getting louder, which meant it was getting closer… suddenly she felt the heat of something breathing on the back of her neck, heavy and vigorous then a sound of horrendous laughter coming from right behind her. The sound was a kind of nauseating giggle that made her knees buckle and her stomach feel tense. She shifted around to face whoever or whatever was behind her. Before she could turn around all the way to get a good look at the figure the floor suddenly gave out beneath her.

Glass, sharp and transparent, seemed to be levitating around her. Time seemed to slow, the shards whirling around and pivoting all around her in the dark space she had fallen into. Her mouth opened trying to scream but soon realizing she couldn’t breathe. Feeling as though she was drowning in a pool of air the girl looked up towards the hole and saw a hazy figure watching her. She felt as though she had been falling and not breathing for quite a while now, the hazy figure getting further and further away and the shards of glass gone. Her eyelids suddenly feeling heavy she closed her eyes and felt her body hit the floor…
