"Let me be honest here! After a magnificent first few chapters, the next few sçenes gave me the idea that it was going to be the second of my favourite author's many novels with which l I was not completely happy!' I was SO wrong! On reading the çompleted novel, and accepting the scenes which had disturbed me at first, I became as enamoured with this story as I am with the rest of his work! (I even loved the accident-prone bear!) At times I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, especially when the hero was fighting for his life. As usual, the writing was superb, the plot was thrilling, and the ending was happily surprising, making me wonder why I ever doubted that it could possibly work out! A must-read for everyone! "

"John, the author, tells a good story. This one is about old nick the bear, some twin girls, who are kidnapped by bank robbers and their eventual rescue by our hero. Or is it he who gets rescued? You need to read the story to find out. Thank you."
