chapter 1 Crystal Sun
Sara took Sekora to a special room and made Sekora sit down on the white linoleum floor. Sekora sat on the floor and began to look around. She saw three huge windows, what looked to be small warriors flying around carrying small spears and a white unicorn sitting on a cloud. Sara then took something out of a black jar that sat on one of the pillars surrounding the room and stuck it in her robe pocket.
“Where are we ?” she asked.
“I’m going to die soon.” Sara replied.
“What!” exclaimed Sekora.
Sara began to float in the air. She then floated toward Sekora until she was in her face. She then drew her sword and pointed it at Sekora making her slide backward.
“If you show fear you will never defeat Nosfurene.”
Sara then landed and sat next to Sekora. She then reached into the pocket of her robe and pulled out a small white cloth. She handed it to Sekora, who opened it to reveal a gleaming gold crystal that resembled the sun. The crystal had six points each representing a different element, fire, water, earth, air, light and darkness. In the middle it had a green crystal that gleamed in the light within the room. There was an overwhelming power coming from the crystal that Sekora never felt before.
“What is this overwhelming power!” exclaimed Sekora.
“This is the Crystal Sun, which holds the Furiyu of which ever Kazikarian wields it and reveals their strongest element.”
“Tell me more about the Kazikari.” Said Sekora.
The Kazikari are akin to sages as they are in tune with nature. Also, just like sages they can draw on nature’s Furiyu to boost their power. The difference between Sages and the Kazikari is that sages have six paths whereas the Kazikari have five, Weaver, who uses magical threads to make armor or for fighting, Dragon Guard a person who uses dragons as power, a priest where the person uses miracles and divine attacks, Holy warrior who uses both elemental magic and miracles and finally the Shining one which is a person that is said to possess a high affinity for Furiyu and can master all five paths.
“All of those sound insane, which one did you choose?”
“None of them.”
“None, why not?” asked Sekora looking stunned.
“My group was destroyed by the Ancients, more specifically La’rin, he is known as walking death. Our Sun Furiyu was no match for their Divine Furiyu like water to fire.
They destroyed the Kazikari because they have enough power to rival the Ancients.
“Wow!”
“If had been given the choice I would have been a priest.” Replied Sara as she pulled another Crystal Sun from her pocket. This version had a yellow diamond in its center.
“So your strongest element is light?” asked Sekora.
“Yes as yours is wind.”
“Do you think that is why I was given the spirit of Amir Gual because of my strong affinity to wind?”
“I would agree with your assessment. Said Sara, then she stood to her feet and held her crystal out in front of her and closed her eyes. Sekora watched her mother as she began to chant some kind of incantation.
“Sun of Solis grant me your power so I can unleash your wrath and beauty upon the world.” Said Sara.
There was a bright flash of gold light. Sara now wore a all white shawl with a gold sun, a small gold cross and other gold embroideries, she wore white gloves with the same gold cross, under her shawl she wore a small white dress and boots featuring the cross also there were gold embers coming off the bottom of the dress. Her eyes flashed with a bright gold light.
“Wow mom you look beautiful!” exclaimed Sekora with her mouth gaped open.
“Well thank you, this is the outfit of a priest, yours will be different depending which path you choose.” Said Sara who returned to her normal state.
“I thought you said you didn’t get to choose?”
“Right, in my time I didn’t, but I found that there are more Kazikari in a place called the Runway and that is where you will go to finish your training.” Said Sara.
“Awesome!” exclaimed Sekora.
Dejon, who had been sitting in the corner not saying a word stood and began to speak.
“Sorry about your clan.”
“Thank you.” replied Sara.
“In my 3,000 years of living I’ve seen the Ancients only once and that was during
“No Sekora, it will not be awesome, not at all, release all of your swords and let training begin.
