It is universally acknowledged that this is how we measure time- by what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen. We live our lives on this linear path, never deviating, never able to escape that which controls each one of us no matter how much we might fight it: Time.
We are all slaves to Time.
Many have tried to leave the path. Many have tried, time and time again, to overcome Time’s all-consuming will. Yet, no matter how they try, they can never best It. Time waits for no one, and Time will never be a friend to man.
All, that is, except for her.
A child.
Invisible to Death’s ever-watching gaze and free of the chains that bind us to Fate.
A child forgotten by Time.
She has seen everything, heard everything, and walked through dimensions none of us can even imagine.
