The World is Bigger Than it Seems

Summary

What if people from different fandoms were thrown into an arena as an experiment? In a world where aliens collect people one night every century, confused main characters are taken from their peaceful homes. Oh, and their family and friends definitely realize that they are gone. Not only will they learn just how big their world is, this is only the beginning. I do not own any of the characters. This book will jump to and from characters point of view but most will be told in third-person perspective. This will be similar to The Hunger Games since they are in an arena but they are not forced to fight so most of it will be a mystery/exploration to them.

Chapter 1

The blood rushes in my ears as I run.

Ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions, and counting fictional worlds, characters, words, outfits, countries, lands, restaurants, houses, names, places, weather, powers, hair, ethnicity, creatures, colors, and more exist. Much, much, much more.

So who could be running? A maze full of boys? A city full of people? A country ruled by a dictatorship? The ancient world's past and present? The children of a zombie apocalypse? A school of teens with magical powers? Is that all? No. That is just the beginning and right where this story takes place.

"Locating data," the computer reads out loud to me.

A list of places pops up on my computer screen. Panem, Chicago, just 'Maze', Hogwarts, Eastern United States, and more. I scroll through the list and delete places that are in different worlds. Strictly the Milky Way Galaxy I was told. Nowhere too complicated and it all must overlap on the Night of the Worlds moon. One night every year most worlds overlap. This is the perfect time to collect samples to create trials and experiments.

"Do you have the list ready?" the monotone voice of my commander asks.

"Yes. I think that this years games will be quite... interesting."
