"This is a paranormal coming of age, whose plot is rather common in root but different in execution. My chief complaint is the feeling of the story being rushed in sevetal sections, particularly the last few chapters. Powers have little explaination as to the hows and whys, drawing instead on the hopes that the audience is familiar enough with psychic ability to be able to suspend disbelief. Their powers also develope far quicker than it feels they should. While it is a decent adventure story, you won't be drawn into the characters very much as most of them are currently shallow in depth of development. All that being said, please do not let this deter you from reading this series, because the next novel that Igor Max writes, now that groundwork is laid, hints at being something really unique in a literary world flooded with zombie tales."

If they knew the everything about Jack then they should have known about the grandfather's condition and secure him one time.) Other little inconsistencies threw me a bit but overall it was a cool read. "
