December 6th, 1123 - Cypress

I pressed my face against the warm muscle under me. Scars and hair brushed against my nose as an arm squeezed around me, making me sigh in comfort. A quiet snore echoed in the room and I slowly opened my eyes.

Darkness surrounded us as the blankets kept away the cool air. My thoughts felt sluggish and my body heavy. Fingers stroked my hair momentarily.

“Atticus,” I murmured as I fully processed where I was. Inhaling his scent of summer thunderstorms, I felt tears prick my eyes. “Atticus.”

“Hmmm,” he replied sleepily before pressing a kiss to my forehead.

“Atticus.” My fingers grasped at his chest hair and he rolled onto his back, pulling me along with him.

His hand pushed under the oversized shirt I wore and rubbed my back. “My flower.”

Resting my ear on his chest, I listened to his slow heartbeat. Tears rolled down my cheeks as if the sound was the sweetest melody.

“Why are you crying?” asked Atticus gently, continuing to stroke my back. His quiet concern touched my skin.

“You never wrote,” I murmured.

Shame raced through him, making him tense. “I’m sorry. I really am.”

My throat tightened as a fresh wave of sadness flowed from my heart.

“You were always in my thoughts,” said Atticus. “All I wanted was to return to you.” He took a deep breath. “I know that doesn’t make up for not writing to you. I just want you to know... I’ve been in a lot of pain throughout my life, and this was the worst. Every time I tried to write to you, it felt like my heart was crumbling.”

Slowly I sat up, straddling his hips and resting my hands flat on his pecs. I could feel his cock begin to stiffen through his undershorts. His left eye flashed with lightning as he stared up at me.

“You promised me that we’ll always be by each other’s sides in the future,” I said, pain making my voice sharp.

“Yes, I promise you that,” replied Atticus, sitting up and leaning his forehead against mine. “If you need to put a charm on me so that you’d feel reassured then do that.”

I shook my head and he cradled my cheek

“Tell me what I can do for you right now.”

I closed my eyes as my only thought was for him to worship my body. I flinched as lips pressed against my tear-stained cheeks. Adoration and love filled each kiss along my skin. His thumb traced my lips with such gentleness I wondered if he thought I’d crumble in the still air.

As his lips touched mine I ran my hand up his chest. With each movement of our lips, I traced the scars crossing his skin. His hand moved to the small of my back, pulling me closer. He trailed kisses down my jaw and along my neck. As I tilted my head back my skin began to glow softly.

“Atticus,” I breathed, closing my eyes.

He licked my throat, his breath hot against my cool skin. His teeth tugged on my earlobe before he asked, “What do you wish for right now?”

A shiver ran down my spine as his fingers brushed up my spine. A wordless plea escaped my lips and I pushed my groin against his erection. Fluid smeared between us.

Atticus moved his hand across my hip as his lips kissed down my neck. His fingers caressed my sex, making me buck. He bit the muscle between my shoulder and neck before parting my seam with a finger. I moaned as his calluses touched my clit.

Heat flared in my pelvis and my limbs tingled. I needed more of him. Draping my arms over his shoulders, I entangled my fingers in his hair. He sucked on my skin as I nipped at his ear. Lightning danced in his eye when he looked up at me.

“I missed you,” I breathed before kissing his lips. As our tongues delved into each other I rocked my hips. I could feel his need to reconnect reverberate alongside my own.

Pressure grew in my base and my skin glowed brighter. My body felt like it would climax at any moment, but it wouldn’t release. Trembling, I buried my face against the crook of Atticus’s neck. Whimpers trickled from my lips as I struggled to continue humping his hand. Each limb felt heavy and light at the same time.

“I’ve got you,” breathed Atticus across my ear. He released a small spark on my clit. Heat crashed through my body and I cried out at the rush of euphoria. My fingernails scratched at his scalp as my whole body pulsed. He slowly rubbed my labia before kissing my cheek. I shivered against him, trying to remember how to breathe.

“You okay?” he asked, kissing my cheek again.

I nodded as my body tingled with each after-pulse.

Atticus wrapped his arm around me before laying back. “We should go to sleep for now.”

With my eyes closed, I replied, “But I want you to fuck me.”

Searing desire flooded my body and I tensed. My pussy throbbed painfully. Squeezing my thighs together, I tried to find some relief. Atticus took several deep breaths until his lust receded to a simmer.

“Tomorrow,” he said with a gravelly voice, “when we’re back home, I’m going to fuck you until there’s a storm.”
