Naruto

Naruto sits on his roof as the sun rises his mind isn’t watching the pretty sunrise. Instead he’s remembering, painfully he remembers a young version of himself and sasuke uchia. By this time in the day they would be heading to the meeting spot of team 7 and now he sits waiting for the new team Kakashi to meet. Life was different not always in a good way, Naruto had fulfilled a prophecy and no one knew,

He had become the jinjurhike for all 12 of the beasts without anyone being harmed. He had made hundreds of new jutsu he couldn’t use, he had learned everything possible even banned jutsu. None of this mattered though because it wouldn’t change the fact that he wasn’t able to find sasuke or the fact he still had to pretend he was the same stupid blonde.

Naruto gets pulled out of though by a woman throwing a rock, Naruto catches it and walks to the edge of the roof jumping down. He lands gracefully and starts his walk to the training ground they usually meet at. It was the original training ground the one that the original three had done the bell test. Everytime they went there Sakura would cry making a huge scene. Naruto gets to the training ground,he ignores Sakura who’s in tears. Her crying annoyed him she wasn’t help anyway but when she was crying even sai wouldn’t focus.

So ultimately the team had gone down in rankings and weren’t put out on many missions. Naruto had heard Tsunada talking about this team recently about how it wasn’t working so now Naruto’s goal was to prove this team can be the best. Naruto goes to a more secluded area and takes a seat in the middle of the area. He’s surrounded by trees and can hear every individual bird that is around him he looks out further and can hear Sakura cry and sai attempt to comfort her. He can hear the bustling streets of konaha the people bartering and buying. Naruto then focuses out farther he can hear the forest protecting the hidden leaf. He immediately stands up opening his eyes.

Kakashi lands infront of Naruto “what exactly where you doing” Kakashi asks the boy who had jumped up off the ground. Naruto looks up at Kakashi’s question, “I was practicing” Naruto answers bluntly. “what exactly where you practicing” Kakashi quizzed putting away his book. Naruto looks up from the ground he had been sitting on “pin pointing” Naruto says trying not to cause suspicions. Kakashi looks at him questioningly then just looks down the path to where Naruto had left.

He walks past Sakura who tries to grab him but only skims his arm. He startles at the contact and look at Sakura, “ can I ask you something” she sniffles her green eyes peering into his own dead grey eyes. He doesn’t open his mouth instead he nods, “honestly Naruto do you miss him or could you care less”. Naruto’s heart dropped he cared a lot about sasuke no matter how much he tried not to care, “at first I cared but now I know he’s happy if he wasn’t he would do something about it, Sasuke has never been the type to tolerate things he didn’t like”Naruto says lightly then leaves not waiting for a response.

Naruto walks home dodging the constant looks of hate, when a ball rolls to his feet. He pauses for a moment then hands the kid his ball the kid gives him a smile and Naruto smiles back then walks away. He puts on his belt and a black cloak then leaves his apartment going deep into the woods being followed by Kakashi’s hound Pakun. Naruto stands in a clear area then he closes his eyes and starts to listen he hears pakun but ignores him. He then hears his target a lonely uchia. Naruto’s eyes instantly open a sharigan spinning and a bakugon in the other eye. He pin points Sasuke and starts to walk towards him.

Pakun follows as far as he can till he has to report back to Kakashi so he heads back right before Naruto reaches sasuke. “So your monkey troop abandoned you” sasuke chuckles. “I would have to be part of the monkey troop to be abandoned but I guess you would understand that” Naruto snaps. Sasuke stands “come here dobe” Sasuke says knowing Naruto was just acting. Naruto runs into Sasuke’s arms grabbing his robe tightly “I missed you teme, you left and didn’t even tell me why I thought it was me” Naruto wept into Sasuke’s robe.

“Naru look at me it was never your fault I’m sorry I didn’t tell you I didn’t want to hurt you not ever” Sasuke says stroking Naruto’s hair. “I love you sasu” Naruto sniffles, “I love you too my Naru and I promise I won’t leave you again” Naruto looks at sasuke a new look on the boys face he hasn’t seen before. It was a look of belonging a feeling Naruto had only ever felt with the uchia. “Sasuke” Naruto whispers sensing Pakun again, Sasuke only nods holding Naruto closer and hiding him within his Akatsuki cloaked. “They won’t know your here, I won’t let them blame you not for anything else”.

One thing Naruto had noticed while living this secret life was people put more blame on the people who excepted things. It may not help that Naruto was a jinjurhike, but for example people blamed Naruto for Sasuke’s disappearance because he was okay while people felt bad for Sakura. Even though he was the only reason Sasuke ever returned near the village. People just always needed someone to blame but sasuke had never blamed him and that was one of the reasons Naruto loved him.

Pakun walks around the corner Kakashi with him. “ so it was you” Sasuke says Naruto still held close to his chest. “What are you doing here” Kakashi asks stepping forward towards sasuke. “I came back to take what’s mine then I leave again” Sasuke answers. “What exactly is it you think is yours” Kakashi asks. Naruto shivers “ he came for me” Naruto says his voice in a horse whisper.
