Prologue
Welcome to the Ling Yi Ban or the Festival of Love. It happens every once, twice, ... maybe three times every generation depending on how many children the King and Queen of Macaw sire. It lasts for three days. All of the people of Macaw gather at the capital to eat, drink, and try to find and marry into royalty. According to tradition, the king and queen are not allowed to interfere, but the queen is allowed to give hints to people, whom she approves of, for finding the prince. The festival focuses on finding true love as the kingdom of Macaw believes that a world ruled by love is a peaceful one. If you want to participate, just remember three important rules: you must register for and pick up a mask before the festival from a royal official and it is forbidden to take off your mask while you are outside or switch masks with someone; telling someone your name is prohibited during the festival (if it is true love you will be able to find one another); and lastly this is less a rule and more of a warning don't drink or eat anything handed to you from a stranger (people who are not vendors).
Have fun. Don't die.
Find love. Bye.
