Teffiney

It was Sunday morning Teffiney was on her way to church, her father was always busy with work so every Sunday she used to go alone to church. That day while she was on the table eating her breakfast,her father asked her if he could come along to church with her , she was shocked."Daddy, are you serious" Teffiney was not sure if that was a dream or what. She knew that her father would have not decided it by himself, she knew that the was a reason why he decided that."Daddy,how come you decided to come to church along today" she asked worried."well my dear Ayesha made me realise that lately l have been too busy to give time to my children" Mr Lee replied to her with a smile , Teffiney was happy that her father was coming along but the fact that he realised it after it was said by Ayesha made her worried. Teffiney knew that Ayesha was bad news for everyone she always wondered why her father married her.

"Morning everyone,"Ayesha greeted . Everyone at the table greeted but Teffiney didn't. Teffiney was getting fed up of Ayesha. "Daddy, l wanted to tell you that l'm going to mom. "Teffiney said.She knew that her father never liked it whenever she tries to talk about her mom but now it was necessary because she had decided to go and stay there forever. "Why ? Haven't l told you not to talk about her in this house?"Mr Lee aked her furiously. "Daddy why , she is my mother and l will talk about her wether anyone likes it or not. Oh and yes l was telling you and not asking you daddy, please forgive me of l spoke rude . Daddy the reason why l'm going there is because I going to CU." Said Teffiney with a smile on her face. Even though he was angry she didn't want to spoil her Sunday. After she told her father that she left for church

"My dear , don't be angry l'm that this is Trisha's doing " Ayesha told Mr Lee, trying to blame Teffiney's mother for what happened that morning."You right, Teffiney has never spoke to me like that before today" Mr Lee added to what she was saying. Ayesha told him to go and talk to Teffiney and apologize to her for his behaviour when she comes back from church.

"It's been 5 hours since the church was out, and it takes half an hour from church to come home, but Teffiney has not arrived." Mr Lee was worried about Teffiney when he realised that Teffiney has not came home yet. He tried to call her but no reply. Later he went to Teffiney's room to have a look, when he found a latter on the bed .

Daddy . I'm sorry that l'm living home like this , but l know if l tell you, you will try and stop me. U don't know what Ayesha made to you that made you change so much, so much that you don't even want to hear about mom . Daddy l'm living today because l want to not because someone asked me. Mr Lee was sad, but not because Teffiney left rather because she left after the fight and didn't get a chance to solve it. He was blaming Trisha his ex wife , "first she took my son from me and now my daughter" Mr Lee said angrily to himself.

"Tef, my little sis you're here." It was Mark, Teffiney's older brother . He said with their mom. He was the one who went to receive Teffiney from the airport that day , he was happy to see a little sister after 10 years . They wondered how their mother will feel when she sees her after all this years. Teffiney and Mark went to the mall before going home, to buy some gifts for her mother and a cake since it was her mother's birthday. Mark knew that they was no better gift than Teffiney herself. After shopping they went home, Teffiney was wondering if town was still the way she left it or not , she was wondering if she will make friends or no . She many questions which she didn't have answers to. By the time she came back from her dream world they were home. Mark went first in the house." Mark dear, were did you go leaving with out a word"Ms Trisha asked worried about her son. She was not alone she was with Aleina who used to be Teffiney's friend at her childhood. "Mom don't worry about me ,l just went to get you a gift"Mark said

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear mommy" Teffiney came in hiding her face with the cake and sing to her mom. Ms Trisha was shocked and wondering who that was. When Teffiney move the cake ms Trisha so happy to see that it was her daughter that she cried of happiness."oh dear is this really you or am l day dreaming" she just couldn't believe her eyes. "Yes mummy it's me" Teffiney replied . Everyone was happy even Aleina and Teffiney greeted each other. When Teffiney's mother asked her for how long will she be staying she told her that it was until she doesn't get married. She was surprised but happy to know that she will be staying for a long time
