Third Person's POV

"Hey there, gorgeous."

Roop looked up and saw the man that always irritates him, Parth Omkara. Roop always tries to be patient because his mother told him to be nice to everyone but this guy right here always pisses him off by contradicting his words lucky for Parth he considers him as his best friend that's why he doesn't ignore him.

"My name is Roop, not Gorgeous. Who are you referring to?" Just like right now, they've known each other for years now, yet Parth still mistook him for someone else. The other day he was called 'Beautiful' then the next 'Pretty' now it's 'Gorgoeus'

"When will you be able to say my name? Its Roop. R-O-O-P. Roop. I'm not Gorgeous. Maybe she's in the other office. Try looking for her there."

Parth's mouth hung open as he couldn't believe what Roop told him. He knew exactly that Roop is innocent but not to this extent.

"Roop, I'm just using adjectives to get your attention. I did not forget your name." Parth said

There, there he is again he'll deny it but Roop experienced it a lot of times, Parth calling him different names, "It's okay. Just admit that you are forgetful. I won't be mad. Do you want me to wear a name plate for you to always remember my name?" Roop asks

If it isn't for Roop's innocent eyes Parth could swear that he is sarcastic but knowing Roop, he is not.

"No. I'm sorry it's my bad. Don't worry, I'll call you Roop from now on. Come on, let's eat lunch and stand up now." Parth said

They were in the cafeteria when Parth suddenly spoke, "This Paneer is hard as rock! Why would they serve this?"

"What really?" Roop can't believe what he heard, why would they serve something so hard it might break their teeth. Poor Parth.

"Here take a bite." Parth made him open his mouth and eat but he won't allow that to happen.

"What if my teeth break? I don't want to go home with missing teeth. Just return the food." Roop said

Parth just stared at him in disbelief. How dare he forget that Roop was this innocent or say naive.

"Be thankful that I like you that's why I put up with your innocence." Parth said

"Thank you, Parth." Roop smiled

Parth shook his head. I think I'm going to get crazy.

***

Parth was with Roop after their work and they planned on eating dinner together. Well, Parth planned it Roop just went along.

"Why do we have to eat here, Parth? I told you, you can come and eat with us in our home if you feel alone. You don't have to drag me here." Roop said

"Hey! Don't talk as if I force you to do this. And it's not an ordinary night out with me. This is a date." Parth said quite annoyed

Parth is indeed very thankful that Roop is innocent because up until now Roop is very oblivious of how a ton of men and women wanted to date him but never succeeded because they are not as patient as him to endure how severe his naiveness can be, but situations like this makes him so annoyed as he always try to be at least romantic but Roop won't let him live.

"A date? What do you mean by a date?" Roop asks innocently

Roop can't comprehend what 'date' does Parth means he needs to be precise. A date like the date of today or date like what his mom and dad do every weekend.

"You know, just spending time together with someone I really like. And that someone is you. You know that I like you right?" Parth said and smiled

Of course Roop knew. They were best friends.

"Of course, your my best friend. I like you too." Roop smiled cutely

"No, not that type of like, Roop. I like you, as in I like you as someone who I want to be my boyfriend one day. Someone I can marry. I love you, okay? Ever since the first time you went out the door of your house I knew I really like you." Parth confessed

Roop was shocked to say the least, but he is not allowed to like someone yet. His father told him not until he's 30 he can have a crush on someone.

"But my father said I can't have a crush on someone until I'm 30. Will you wait?" Roop asked

"30? Roop, you are already 23 and I am 28, people our age can get married whenever they want. Why are you that naive?" Parth was so frustrated that he raised his voice at Roop.

"Well, you know I've been home schooled all my life well not until college. Father told me not to engage in non sense conversations and to talk about non sense things. Everything should make sense, all about studying. He just taught me to pray to my Mother God, and to know the mythology very well. I just did what he told me. He doesn't even let me have friends. You're the only friend I have because he allowed you to, thanks to my mom. Are you mad because I'm stupid? Do you get tired of understanding me now?"

Roop was about to cry. Maybe Parth is now annoyed at him. He doesn't really want to be so clueless about everything but he can't help himself, he doesn't know anything aside from what he studied in school and the true devotion towards his Divine Goddess.

"No, no. Don't cry shit!" Parth was startled when he could see tears forming in Roop's eyes.

"Hey! Don't curse! That's bad!" Roop said still crying.

"Okay, okay. I'll stop cursing just don't cry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to shout at you." Parth held Roop's hand above the table and gently squeezed it.

"It's okay. I understand you. Just don't hate me Parth okay? Tell me how can I make it up to you."

Parth know that it's not cool to gate advantage upon Roop's cluelessness but to hell with it, he'll do it anyways.

"Be my boyfriend." Parth said

"Hey! I just told you I can't do it yet. I can't lie to my parents!"

"Okay then. If you won't change your mind_"

"What do you mean by that?" Roop was getting nervous. Will he be able to really lie to his parents? But what if Parth hates him forever? That thought dreads him. But that would make him a bad son.

"But I don't want to lie to my parents. They will get mad."

"We won't lie, we will just not tell it to them yet. Just like a surprise, not unless everything is ready no one's going to talk about it."

"So I won't lie?" Roop felt as if weights were lifted upon his shoulders.

"Yes. You'll just keep it as a secret." Parth said

"Okay. Fine. I'll be your boyfriend. Just don't hate on me okay? I don't know what I will do without you."

"Of course. So we're a couple now, and there are benefits of becoming boyfriends. Do you know that, Roop?" As much as Parth wanted to call him 'baby', 'babe', or 'love' he can't. Knowing Roop that will just cause them another session of what Roop's name should be called.

"What benefits? Do I get another health benefits from being in a relationship with you? An insurance? But my mom and dad don't have that, not that I know of. Really? How do we apply for it? Are we going to take a leave?"

Here we go again.

"No, Roop. What I mean is that there are things that people in a relationship can only do. I will teach you that. And also, I will teach you some other things so that you won't be so naive to the eyes of other people, don't get me wrong I like you being like that but sometimes it's too much that people make fun of you.

Don't worry. Our lessons would be so much fun. I assure you that." Parth has already a lot in mind of what he will teach Roop along the way and he can't help but feel excited.

"So this is what having a boyfriend is like? Well, I think it would be fun. But how will we have our lessons? Do I need a notebook? What's our schedule? I'm excited Parth!"

"I'll tell you tomorrow. But firstly, since you're my boyfriend, I am the only person aside from your parents who will be able to hold your hands, okay? That's the first thing you need to know."

"Why?"

"Because you're mine."
