TRUST

I opened the door to the coffee shop, I sniffed it with joy and I wanted to have the best day I possibly could, because I’m an optimist of course.

I saw my partner, Officer Ulysses Ryan. “Hey Patterson.” Ulysses said. “Hey partner.” I said responding.

We both got in the car and turn our siren on.

While we were driving we heard a voice.

“Sir! Sir please help!” A young girl said to me waving her hand through the air to give me a sign. “Ryan, pull over.” I said to my partner. “Got it.” Ulysses said with determination.

We both got out of our car and we rushed to the girl with tears in her eyes. “What do you need young lady?” I said. “My younger brother he’s been kidnapped by a man …. A man with an explosive on his chest! Please you have to help me!” My partner and I were shocked, more than usual. But we took the girl to the police station and we told Our commissioner everything, this investigation exploded really quickly but I knew this girl would see her younger brother again.
