THE NEW FAMILY

Zara Mazumbdar daughter of Shaila mazumbdar move into her new house after father Shinoy mazumbdar a die- heart journalist died after a car accident and her mother remarried again to a Christian man John medal.

They moved into a lavish apartment with big bedrooms with a classy drawing room .

Zara got two step-siblings from her mother's re-marriage Natasha and Andrew,both are twins .

Though Zara loved her father but she accept the remarriage but she remained kind of unattached from her newly-found family and even from her mother.

Zara is a class Ninth-grade and a A-lister she share a her school with her step-siblings also.

One day Zara returned home from school tired .

Her mother knocked on her ajar door and presses " Zara we need to talk."

"What kind of talk mom can't we do tommorow I am really very tired " zara says tiredly.

" Enough is enough zara just stop!! avoiding me I am tired of your behaviour.

You even didn't show care toward Nat and Andrew "

"Why are you not accepting it that your father is dead and the only thing u have now is your new family accept it and move on , your father's journalism had created a havoc in all of our lives for months"

" I have moved on ammi why can't you see it , I am living with you can't you see I am going to school with Nat and And together can't you see I am happy"

Zara snaps.

"I know Zara but treat John and your siblings like your friends at least, you are not even talking to them I know your choice acceptance towards John but them they are also like you, they are also new to our entrance to their lives..."

"Please just for your Abba please make a move I can't see you like this I know I had scolded you for your adventures in past but ... but now I felt that I had lost my daughter "

"You are now realizing it just after two years you got so busy in your life that you didn't pay any heed to me, i thought you would be happy and spare me but you didn't all you just enquire me is just only school life then why the fuck right now.. " Zara snarls , crying.

Shaila touched her head and asked for forgiveness " I am sorry my Jaan ..." she also began to cry .

"Please try it for me"

Saying this Shaila left saying this much while zara got into thinking.


Todays morning is Sunday and everyone had gathered on their breakfast table .

John will be the cook today as he didn't want his wife do hardwork even on the day of holiday ,Sunday.


"Get ready kids for todays meal ", john says bringing the food bowl to the table the kids are seated on their in one line , both the new parents have tried to make things clear between them and they are still putting their efforts to make them talk to each other but all trys seems to be futile.

The children's started to eat .

But the surprising part was that Zara made a small talk to her step-siblings that " How was the school am pretty sure that Prof.Khadus didn't appeased you"

The parents are wide eyed while the two other kids are silent surprisingly then Nat replied"yeah that junkie chemistry can never be in a favourite list of anyone's "

hering the small talks nat began to chuckle .

" Yeah I really want a back bench for his periods only yarr ..." Andrew presses.

And throughout the brekfast and day the trio talked to each heartily.

They also lens hand to each other for their assignments.

John and Shaila are atleast relieved that they are trying to have a bond of friendship between them.

From the next day onwards they are becoming into each other like sharing tit-bits playing indoor games together and watching movies together.
