Summary

Three children are locked in a dark, old, abandoned house. The wooden floors are covered in the carnage of their former classmates. How did they end up in this mess? Are they in an illusion? Death is always an inevitable fate, inescapable. Everyone lives and dies in the beauty or destruction in a world of their own creation. Even the immortal face Death before they face the blessing and curse of living forever in the torture of a judgemental, hypocritical, society. Billions of people crawl along the surface of this planet, and yet every single one of them is alone. They are alone in their mind, in their reality, in their morals, values, and stature, they are alone in their journey, and in the differences between their sanity and insanity. They are all alone. Loneliness consumes everyone in the cruelest ways possible, driving the darkness and insanity to take over. The weak minded will always succumb to the control of Loneliness. It will change their reality: the color, the beauty, and joy. There will no longer be color; it will be shades of black and white, beauty will no longer awe them; it will become dull and numb, the joy will mean nothing to them when Loneliness takes over their mind and begins to control them. Fear, sadness and cruelty mean nothing to them: they fear nothing, feel nothing except numbness, and the world will no longer faze them.

Prologue

Fear, sadness and cruelty mean nothing to them: they fear nothing, feel nothing except numbness, and the world will no longer faze them, even in the most horrific ways.

Humans lives are run by date and time, they allow such simplistic, yet broad ideas to run them. Every event occurs through dates, “the wedding will be on June fourth, at one o’clock p.m.”, “your package will be delivered at two in the afternoon on Sunday”, “your due date is January 18, 1998,”. Time provides a sense of structure and ‘normalcy’ in their lowly, and pathetic lives. Yet time is such a difficult topic to understand, to put into simple terms, to believe in, to explain or examine. Time can create, but it can also destroy. It can ruin lives and cause havoc. It can bring War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death into a fragile ecosystem. In an instant, the planet would be destroyed by something so simple, so basic, yet so cruel and complicated.

In the end, no matter how they face it, no matter how they see it, no matter how they try to avoid it, no matter how hard they try to put it out of their minds; Loneliness and Death are always watching. They’re always lurking in the back of human consciousness in order to claim their next victim. Bring the beauty of insanity and pain to a whole new, cherished level; in order to build their army and slowly kill them off one by one. They’re there to bring the sense of being alone in all things to their reality, to silence them, because they are alone.

You are alone and no one can save you now in this reality. No one will save you once you’ve entered The House.
