| A Prince |
The leaves among the trees slowly ebbed away and fell among the countless others.
There I stood waiting.
A few horses with a few carriages and their companions, clopped down the front of my ‘home’.
“No not that one either!”
A girl of harsh nobility stood among the flowers and horses. While I stood not too far behind. The girl was pointing and screaming, seemingly not in a good mood.
“We have to hurry and get there before the Prince you want to meet so badly, meets his future wife. This is why Mother told you to pick one beforehand.” Says a lean boy standing beside her.
“Well I didn’t know all of the horses could be so absolutely horridly ugly! Watch your mouth you gremlin!” The girl continued to squeak at her brother.
The boy scoffed and threw his head back into a fit of laughter. “I think you resemble those creatures you call horridly ugly, better than you may think.”
The horses clopping by in front of us were shining beautifully. Not a soul could possibly think of these beings as anything but beautiful.
Yet these people did. That is the type of family this was. “Mother can’t you tell them to go any faster?” The other girl beside the boy, piped up. All the while I stood in the back. Not as pretty in dress, but still the most mature out of the lot If I do say so myself.
“Oh! That one is pretty! Isn’t it sister? Can we please go on that one?” A little boy, the size of the average Servant boy’s leg.
The boy was special to me, and me only. To the others, he was simply the youngest. I, the third youngest.
It was my eldest brother, Merl, my second eldest sister, Dinai, me, the third eldest, my sister Heanah, the second youngest, then Blynias, the youngest.
Though what I, the third child, know is something my siblings know as well. I am not of their blood. In fact I am considered a peasant girl to the family.
Yet my blood is far from that.
And I know this how, you may ask?
Because I'm from the real world. Your world. This world I now reside in is from a novel I read. ‘The Beast And The Angel’
As the title suggests, the ‘Beast’ is the First Prince, and the ‘Angel’ is the Second Prince. Though they are twins, the First Prince was born first, thus him becoming the successor to the throne.
Alladay and Decorias, the First and Second Princes of Dragandilla, the home of peace for all men, women, and beast alike.
Alladay and Decorias were never close, even as children, because of the prophecy.
‘One child of light will save us, and the child of darkness will be born of gold blood. The child of light will save us, while the child of darkness will do as their name grows.’
Anyone would have thought Alladay was the child of darkness. He had beautiful luscious black hair, and eyes as red as a rose. His brother, second to throne, Decorias, was the exact opposite. The so-called ‘Child of Light’.
Bright blonde hair, tips of gold, eyes of emeralds, and pink cheeks that as he smiles, lights up a room.
Alladay was the ‘Child of Darkness’.
Decorias was the ‘Child of Light’.
But the story wasn’t meant to be so.
Decorias Amaryllis Dragandilla, was the child of darkness. His heart was that of stone, but his face was that of beauty.
Alladay Caspain Dragandilla, was the child of light. His outward appearance was one that scared many, but his heart was of gold. All because of his scar on his handsome face, that he got as a child, was he called a monster.
Alladay was seen to everyone as a disgusting beast, so he saw himself as others perceived him. But in fact, he was astoundingly beautiful.
His eyelashes were a perfect ebony color that tinted in the light. While his cheeks were that of snow and blood. A perfect mix to make his milky skin stand out.
But his eyes.
His eyes were the most handsome feature of all. (At least in my opinion) Red like rubies smothered in blood on a battlefield. The only one to see his beauty was a daughter of the Duke of Leonisanburg.
She called herself Frey Liona Leonisanburg.
My rival.
Frey was not a kind woman, though she seemed so to everyone. To me, a mere reader of this book, I knew her true intentions.
She used Alladay, and seduced Decorias, whom had already chosen a wife. All to be the queen, and ruler of Dragandilla.
I will stop her. So that is why I must catch Alladay’s eye at this ball. The ball where both of the Princes will be choosing their wife.
White hair lighter than snow and softer than clouds. I am Clementine Almire Proseir.
And I will change this novel.
For the sake of my favorite character, Alladay Caspain Dragandilla. The soon to be former Prince of darkness.
