Chapter 1
It's heavy.
Angela silently thought as she tried to walk down the aisle. With her heavy dress and the golden crown on her head she tried to walks in rhythmic 1, 2, 1, 2 as per the instructor's lecture.
This is the wedding of the century as the crown prince is finally getting married and yes she's the bride. Although she's a fallen noble, she can still considered noble, just without the wealth.
Angela's step mother got into a gambling habit, at first her step mother won but later as life turns she lost all the money she got from Angela's late merchant father. All the wealth that was supposed to Angela was used by her step mother.
Still, the step mother didn't stop and lost everything else. Even the mansion that they lived in, become the collateral.
Left with no choice, she had to sell herself and marry some rich nobility. Luckily, the step mother found someone who was willing to marry her and pay all their debts. It was the rich old man with oily face that had been pestering Angela.
Angela of course didn't want to marry him so she decided to attend the ball that hosted by the King himself without the knowledge of her step mother.
Faced with the crisis, Angela didn't notice the crown prince had approach her and unconsciously ignore him, as she identified him as some rich Casanova so she crossed his name from the list she targeted to marry off to.
On her defense, although she's a noble, it only by her mother side. Her mother's family disowned her because she married a merchant man which is Angela's father. And when she was just 8 years old her mother died.
While her father was a merchant who often travel he needed someone who could take care of Angel, thus marrying the step mother.
Step mother was neglectful towards Angela when her father was not around. While spoil her biological daughters to the brim. Later when it was time for the girls to debut, her father died. while mourning her father the two step siblings insisted that they go to the ball and debut.
Since then Angela's life was turn upside down, although her father is wealthy, it was bound to run out when her step mother keep gambling.
So she never saw the crown prince, their paths never crossed so she doesn't recognize him she just knew he was the prince without a face.
And she's busy looking at the knight of the crown prince. Sir Nicholas, a popular bachelor. Not only he looks good he got skills too. At such a young age he already one of the knights of the crown prince and a close confidant. And not only that, there was a rumor that he possibly one of the secret knights that the imperial palace created. A group of talented individual tasks to protect the imperial family. They have mysterious identity and whenever they are involved it'll be solved immediately.
Such effective forces, it was bound to had high income. Angela, as shameless as it sounds, needed money, so she had to seduce him. Or have a good impression, at least.
So Angela ignored Xavier, the crown prince and approach Nicholas, the knight.
But as the clock ticks to 12 midnight she immediately vanished and the the crown prince chase after her.
All of this was watched by one of the trusted attendant of the King and later told this story with a simple sentence: the crown prince was ignored by a young lady.
The bored king was immediately interested had to put his finger on someone else's business to do this and that and her she was: walking in the aisle with 2.3 lbs golden crown above her head and a glass shoes as a leash.
It wasn't possible to marry the crown prince even when she was still a thriving young noble. But the King made it attainable for her or what the King's words was "The Arrangement".
The Arrangement was to make the troublemaker crown prince to be the perfect and admirable prince he ought to be. Don't ask how it become the solution to marry off your son to a not so fitting person. Or how it will solve the problem.
There's no other choice. She's too young to be the new instructor of the crown prince or too noble for her to be a maid. She can't be a personal knight as she cant even lift a heavy sword.
She made a deal with the King, or the King made some arrangements.
But as shameless as it sounds it didn't change the fact that she asks for conditions when the King made an "arrangements" with her about his troublemaker son, the crown prince.
In the conditions of being the crown princess and making the troublemaker crown prince the perfect prince, within a year, she asked a huge sum of money plus a good land with a mansion and servants. Didn't matter where it was as long as she can live off without worry.

Second, i never read the original work only the first 5 chaps in here at inkitt, so i had no idea what next after that. Third, why did i wrote a fanfic if i dont know the story it was cuz of the contest, i find it interesting and i have spare plot lurking so i joined.
