Chapter 1
Chapter-1 Begining
Fae Delia is a normal girl who recently started her sophomore year. She is a fair girl with shoulder-length red hair and ocean blue eyes. She is a girl of average height who is slightly obsessed with her red hoodie with cat ears. She loves animals a lot.
We also have Carey Ayala who is one of the best friends of Fae. She is a jolly girl with short brown hair and black eyes. Carey is very kind, playful, and cunning. Fae and Carey are close like sisters who are always there for each other. It’s a piece of cake for Carey to make Fae laugh when she’s upset. Their friendship is very strong.
The other best friend of Fae is Jacy, Jacy Haring.. Jacy is a total goofball. She acts a bit dumb sometimes. But she is really cool and nice. Jacy has messy black hair and hazel eyes. She has a face that makes her look like she is shocked all the time. Fae’s other best friend, Carey used to have a dislike her. But after knowing her, she doesn’t anymore.
Three of them are in the same class and same school. All of them get well along. They hang out together at lunch, before school, and after school. They also argue sometimes, but that doesn’t affect their bond. They’re still best friends.
Fae woke up tired this morning. It felt like she didn’t sleep at all. She got up from her bed, had breakfast, and went to school. She usually goes to school walking with Jacy and Carey, but she was walking all alone today. Suddenly, while walking, she heard someone call out her name. She turned, but there was no one around.
I must be imagining it.
Mumbled Fae thinking that it must be due to her ‘little sleep’. She didn’t hear anything strange anymore on her way to going to school.
“You are crazy!” said Carey after hearing Fae.
“I swear I heard something.”
“Maybe you did, maybe you didn’t,” said Jacy with a mouthful of food.
Fae thought, maybe her friends are right. Maybe it was only her imagination, nothing else.
Too bad, it wasn’t her imagination.
Her friends agreed to walk home with her. In case, if Fae again hears anything. But nothing of that sort happened. She didn’t know a surprise was waiting for her at her home.
When Fae reached home, her mother caught her off guard. Her mother was not supposed to be at home except on weekends and until she isn’t sick; as she’s a very busy detective. Her mother was cool, amazing, smart, and friendly. Fae sat beside her. Her mother told her that she managed to get some vacation and will be staying here for a while.
For some reason, it made Fae Delia scared and happy. Something’s wrong. Something unexpected is happening without her knowledge, right under her nose.
