Chapter 1
Varsha and Ritvik were teenagers who had just
got promoted into class 11th. Varsha opted for
maths while Ritvik opted for bio. Both didn’t know
each other as they were from different schools
Varsha was from a girl’s school and Ritvik was
from a co-ed one. While Varsha was a kind of
extroverted girl who could make friends easily,
Ritvik was a shy boy. In his school, he barely had
any friends.
It was the first chemistry class of their new
academic session. Students were excited about their
new lesson. All of them gathered in the class
taking their seats however, some came late. One
of them was Varsha. Class had already got started
and she missed a few topics.
Sarvesh Sir (my school teacher): Kyu ji? Pehli class mein hi late?
Varsha: Sorry sir woh actually auto ni mil
raha thaa.
Sir: Accha koi ni, jaao baitho jaake apni seat pe.
Full class was occupied with students, and the
only place to sit was beside Ritvik. At first, Varsha
hesitated but she sat when sir insisted her as
there were no vacant seats.
Ritvik was very nervous as it was his first time
sitting beside a girl. He was very scared of
initiating a convo but his fate had other plans.
Varsha: Karna kya hai?
Ritvik (stammering with slight fear): Woh sir ne ye
question diya hai, isse solve karna hai.
Varsha: Okay but can you help me with this?
Actually pichla revised nahi hai mera.
Ritvik: It’s okay I’ll help you solving this.
Varsha: Thanks, buddy. By the way, what’s your
name?
Ritvik: Ritvik Sharma. Delhi Public School.
Varsha: Oh hi Ritvik, i’m Varsha from Carmel High School.
(This was the beginning of their beautiful relationship)
