A complex short story

"What a beautiful and saddening story! It was really enjoyable. The characters were varied in their personality and given enough background for the piece, that's why I liked to see them interact. Cordut and Liviu were both interesting and quite mysterious with what happened between them. Cordut's death came off as poetic in a sense. The playaround with brown color at the end was nicely done. Saying that, I am intrigued for other stories set in this universe. I also have to say, that the citations at the start of chapters set the mood really well. Going onwards, these are going to be mere opinions, as everything else stated above. I kind of wish we would have seen a reaction from Luneta and Petre's wife after they had seen Liviu's and Cordut's affair (should I call it as such?). Those chapters were directed from the women's pov and abruptly ended, with what they had seen. There could have been a reaction or a stance on the subject of homosexuality. Another thing, I'd like to mention, is that the paragraphs could be separated, when a new speaker appears. Anyway, as I stated above, I immensly enjoyed this novel and will be waiting for this author's upcoming works."
