An Exciting Morning At School!
On a warm Monday morning, the middle graders of The Wonder International School gathered in their classroom to create an exciting portfolio of their learnings of the previous week.
"Hey, what's the date today " asked Akash.
"Its the 7th of July" replied Fathima. "7/7/2022"jotted down Akash.
Diya excitedly asked her friends "Did you see the rainbow in the morning? It had 7 colours."
She quickly drew a rainbow and started colouring it with Violet, Indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red.
Shamila replied "No! I didn't see it as i was practicing the 7 musical notes 'Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Da, Ni..." in the morning.
"Fathima usually gets up early in the morning. Did you see it Fathima ?" asked Diya
"I was busy reciting the 7 verses of Surah Fathiha from the Holy Qur'ān in the morning" said Fathima
" Hey! We have forgotten something" cried out Asjad. "Today is Amina's Birthday!"
The class echoed"Happy Birthday Amina" !
"How old are you now Amina?" asked Shamila.
" I am Seven" replied Amina proudly.
Muhammad said "I was watching my favourite footballer Cristiano Ronaldo playing Football. His favourite Jersey number is 7. He is an awesome player"
Wow! Cheered all!
"Let's get back to work" reminded Maryam "We have to submit the portfolio today. "
""What did we learn on Monday?" asked Asjad.
"The 7 layers of the atmosphere and the 7 layers of the earth's crust " said Akash
"The seven logic gates on Tuesday" said Muhammad
"Didn't we study about the 7 continents on Wednesday? " asked Fathima
"Yes!" replied all.
"On Thursday we learnt about the bones in the neck. They are numbered from one to seven C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, and C7." explained Shamila
"On Friday we had a virtual tour of the seven wonders of the world. It was awesome!" chirped in the birthday girl Amina.
"And on Saturday i went to the Seven Mile beach with my parents" said Maryam
"Sunday was my baby niece's 7th day naming ceremony" said Diya
Akash who was busy designing the portfolio suddenly raised his head and started counting his team members... "Akash-1, Amina-2, 3-Asjad, 4-Muhammad, 5-Shamila, 6-Fathima and 7-Diya." "We are also seven" exclaimed Akash.
All glanced at each other and realised that the number 7 was repeatedly occurring
"Number 7 is a special number!" squealed Akash.
"Yes! " The class echoed with the sound of the students!
From that Day they started calling themselves
"THE SUPER SEVEN TEAM "
And that is how the Super Team got its name.
