Lisa POV

July 27th

The sun isn’t even out yet but I’m outside cause I have to see my future husband Odell Beckham jr. The Giants started their training open to public training camp and I’m trying to see him up close. A girl is trying to get noticed and chosen but I wish I didn’t have up to be up at the crack of dawn cause NYC is dangerous. New Jersey is dangerous also but by the time I get to NJ, the sun will be out.

On the train ride, I tweet: I’m so excited to see the giants practice, especially my favorites Rashad Jennings and OBJ.

I also tweet at Odell: Resistance cannot be seen, touched, heard, or smelled. but it can be felt. We experience it as an energy field radiating from work in potential. It’s a repelling force. Its aim is to shove us away, distract us, and prevent us from doing our work. Don’t let it.

I smile and I hope he sees the tweet. I also hope he sees me in the stands.

*At the Quest field

I’m the only black person in the stands and I’m okay with that because it means my favorite two players will notice me. Besides not being white, I also don’t have on any Giants gear because I didn’t want to seem like a groupie. I just have jeans shorts and a T-shirt with some sneakers. Hmm, I wonder do Odell like casual-looking women or the contour ones that are always in his face.

Odell POV

Practice today was good and tiring so now I’m home chilling with my sons. (dogs) I decide to scroll through my Twitter notifications. I see a tweet by LovelyLisa26 and it’s a quote. I read it and screenshot it. Then I look at Lisa’s profile and past tweets, turns out she was at training camp today. Hmm she seems cool and she is a fan so I will follow her plus some other people.

Now it’s time to sleep cause I got camp tomorrow and I wonder if Lisa is going to be there.

*Next Day

Training Camp is over for the day and I see Rashad talking to Lisa.

“Hey O, Can you come here for a second?

“Sure

I walk towards them.

“This is Lisa and she is a big fan of ours.

I shake her hand but don’t say anything, I just stare at her.

“Omg, it’s nice to finally meet you. I think you are amazing on the field, it’s wonderful how cohesive you and Eli are. Like the Dynamic duo, Batman and Robin, peanut butter and jelly, ice cream and cake. Okay, let me stop rambling.

She is cute

I continue to glare at Rashad while they exchange numbers.

“Bye Odell, it was nice to meet you.

“No. I have to take my mom to the doctor.

She walks away and that’s when I notice Rashad smirking at me.

“What?

“You like her.

“I don’t even know her and she obviously likes you.

I don’t wait for a response, I just walk away.
