I know this is pretty early for an Author's Note, but there's some things you need to know. In this world, Soulmates/Soulmarks exist. There's also the fact that the would is A/B/O. Alphas are seen as the leaders, Betas the average civilians, and Omegas are seen as the ones to stay at home and care for the house while giving their Alpha partner children. Omegas that cannot give birth are looked down upon and (more often than not) abandoned by their Alpha mate. Obviously there are exceptions to this rule like Yuki, Luffy, and Rouge, but these are few and far between. In the black market, Prime Omegas are valued above even Merfolk for their rarity.
There are different types of Alphas and Omegas in this world. There are your regular Alphas and Omegas, and then theres the Primes. The Prime Alphas and Omegas are known for their beauty and streingth above all else and are sought after. Everyone hopes that their soulmate is either a Prime Alpha or Prime Omega depending on your secondary gender. On average, a Prime Alpha will sell for around 2 bil Beli while a Prime Omega will sell for close to 10 bil Beli. Yuki, herself, is a Prime Omega with the personality and scent of a Prime Alpha. This tends to throw people off as it's very rare for there to be female Alphas while male Omegas are extremely rare.
Another thing that I learned from Yuki's journals is that all D's have the power to turn into a dragon and also have wings. The only ones that don't have the wings and transformation are the "False D's". These people are members of the D Family that have betrayed some one of importance. Now, most of the time, these members of the D Family will no longer have their wings, but their decendants have the ability to gain those powers back. Unfortunately, Teach's family never did anything to regain those abilities and with all the bullshit that he's been causing, he never had the opportunity to try.
Now then. Since that's been covored, I'd like to poinnt out that while there are not many Male Omegas, Luffy and Ace are both Omegas. HOWEVER! Luffy is a Prime while Ace isn't. And that's all I've got to say on the matter, so I hope you enjoy reading about Yuki's adventures! Ja ne!
