firepelt's leadership

fire pelt woke up at dawn to get an early morning walk. he padded across the clearing to the Fresh kill pile. it was full of prey. it was a harsh leaf bare, but they were able to get an amazing amount of prey before the leaves started to change colors. the medicine cat Fern dash had been able to collect enough catmint with her apprentice rose Paw. Falcon kit, rose kit and berry kit had been given mentors. Falcon paw was given night Whisker, rose paw was given Fern dash willing to help the clan not to fight with claws and teeth but fight with herbs through green cough to white cough.

she had vowed to be protecting from the littlest kit to the frailest elder. she vowed to protect her clanmates till the day her apprentice took the role. berry kit got Mallow claw the youngest warrior. he had gotten his warrior's name just a few moons ago. fire pelt picked a thrush and padded out of camp. he was looking around at the falling leaves all around him. he was alarmed by the sound of a warning yowl "Hey you! Stay off of our side of the border mouse brain!" before he knew it he was being slashed and bitten by raven clan warriors. "Star clan help me!"

he yowled. he saw other cats' pelts rushing down and attacking the raven clan cats. "Fire pelt! RUN!" he recognized the charcoal clan leader prickle star. he wriggled free of a cats grasp and fled. as soon as he got to camp, he saw the patrol following behind him. "Prickle star's been injured!" ginger fur meowed. she jumped out of the way as 2 cats came carrying prickle star's limp body. "Prickle star no!" shallow pelt came rushing over. he saw a sad expression on his face. "That was his last life." his mew was numb with grief. then he padded and jumped up onto Highrock.
