It's finally here,the most awaited time of the year,an elite party for the rich kids in town...the rich and prestigious families come together around this time of the year and throw a massive luxurious party for their high school students.Callie,the only daughter of Mr and Mrs Armstrong, the multimillionaires in the city recieved a special invitation, her parents were hesitant to let her go at first,but eventually agree to let her go because she has a whole new world of her's to explore
Callie's POV...
OMG I got a special invitation to the elite's party... I wonder what it's going to be like, my best friend Zoey's going to be there, I am already perceiving a great party already.I took my phone from my desk and texted Zoey to ask if she was ready for the great party...Zoey and I are literally twinnies,I mean we do everything together and almost telepathically all the time,she told me she was almost ready and yeah I was almost ready too but I don't know what to wear...
Mom!... please can you help me pick what to wear?? I asked my mom in a devastated voice,my mom showed up in my room two minutes later, and like always,she knew exactly what I needed to wear,tears of joy fell down my cheeks as I saw the most beautiful and expensive gown I've ever seen in my mom's hands,she had already ordered a gown for me along with some expensive jeweleries...I wore my gown,did my makeup and was all set to go,I took my diamond glazed purse and went downstairs with my mom to bid them goodbye...My mom held my face in her arms as if she was seeing me for the last time, telling my father how much I've grown in these few years,I promised them that I would take care of myself and come home at a decent time,my mom and dad kissed me on the forehead and I kissed each other on their cheeks,a message from Zoey popped up on my phone and I realized I was running late...I rushed into the brand new lamousine my father had bought for me, and my driver set off for the party.
I met Zoey on the red carpet and we walked gracefully into the large castle like building,as usual,we turned all heads in the room and felt more elegant,I was hundred percent certain that everyone was talking about my dress,not to boast but I wore the most expensive gown tonight even though we were all rich in there, the party was wonderful and great just as I thought it would be,Zoey and I enjoyed ourselves decently to the fullest,as I was looking through the sea of heads, I saw him and my heart skipped a several beats,it was Ignatius,my coursemate,his family were also business partners with mine, something about Ignatius make my legs wobble and my face turn red, whenever I was near him or saw him,he was close to perfect,his smile,hair, ocean eyes and amazing physique,arose the butterflies in my belly whenever I saw him I've had a secret crush on Ignatius ever since I saw him in our first year, he's been childhood friends with Zoey so that adds me into the friendship.
Zoey looked at my face and realized immediately that I had seen Ignatius,she knows I have a huge crush on him and has been asking me to make some moves,but am not bold enough to do so,and she won't even try to do anything suspicious because I told her not to.Zoey waved Ignatius in our direction and my heart wouldn't stop beating but I tried to play it cool,as usual, Ignatius arrived in front of us, took my hand and kissed the back of it as he always did because I look like a princess to him, and hugged Zoey like he always does.Zoey is a beautiful brunette girl,she has everything one needs to be recognized as a doll,big puppy eyes, cute plump lips, symmetrical face and her curvy body,we both had the body shape of supermodels,and I am also very beautiful just that, I had a more realistic look and she looked a little aesthetic, which made people think she had undergone a plastic surgery...we had a funny chitchat with Ignatius for some hours.
After the chitchat, we were served cocktails, as the special guest, I had a special cocktail too,it was perfect.Time flew by quickly and it was time to return home, the party was over,I wasn't feeling well in my tummy after 3 servings of the special cocktail so I decided to use the washroom.Zoey decided to go and inform our drivers so that they wouldn't be worried.I stook infront of the mirror in the washroom, reminiscing how handsome Ignatius looked as we were chitchatting. Suddenly,the lights went out in the washroom, I turned back but I couldn't see anything only a shadow of a person,I couldn't specify the gender...who are y...I didn't complete my sentence when two strong hands grabbed my throat, choking me aggressively,my head was hit against the washroom wall three times,my whole body went numb,the killer obviously thought I was dead and carried me onto it's shoulder,I could feel my blood dropping from my head onto the floor, making a rail of blood drops as my hands swinged lifelessly from it's shoulder,my eyes began to shut, that's when I realized I was finally dying,the thoughts of my parents clouded my head...did I really deserve this?? That was my last thought as I felt that I was thrown into something, maybe a river?? the sea?? I didn't know all I had in mind was my parents, I was their only pride,what about Zoey?? Tears fell from my eyes as the last breath left my body...
Author's POV...
Callie is murdered on the same night an assassin decides to take her own life, Aurora believes she has accomplished everything she had to accomplish and since there was nothing worth living for,she drank the poison she had kept from her last mission,she gulped it down in a second and lie on her bed in her rich apartment, smiling through the pain, flashbacks of how she got herself into the assassinating world crawled into her head,an orphan in an abusive orphanage home,managed to get out from the orphanage home at the risk of her life, started working in small grocery shops,but the money wasn't sufficient for anything,so she had to join a gang to get a place to sleep, seeing how bold and cold-hearted she was, she soon earned dangerous contracts which got her huge sum of money at the age of 18, once she was in,there was no going back,all she knew and lived for was her money and comfortable life, she is 25 now and decided that she has had all she wanted, she wouldn't be allowed to stop killing so she had to end it all, afterall she believed she has had just enough time... Aurora lay on her bed lifeless with a smile on her face.
