Chapter 1
It was about 15 years ago. I fell in love in those beautiful green eyes, the smell of vanilla from her skin and her smile. That smile. I could look at it all day long.
We were just beginning university . We were planing our future together – us together, she working as a surgeon and me as a detective at the police station.
And then she left. One day she was gone. She wasn’t in her room and I found out that she left the university. No goodbye, no nothing. Just- gone.
I was left heartbroken and it took me years to get my heart to feel something.
And here we are again. I am looking in those beautiful green eyes again while I handcuff her.
