Description: When the rabbit named Bell moved to the city of Ashon for university she only wanted to escape her small-town life and come closer to her dream of becoming an Archaeologist studying the uncharted forests of Udrea and hopefully explore what the bustling city has to offer.
When the wolf named Draxal moved to Ashon he only wanted to rise the ranks in Mkenil’s crime syndicate plaguing Udrea. By a chance encounter the two meet amongst the millions of Ashonic citizens and become drawn to one another.
While Draxal doesn’t think much about his savage crimes, Bell remains remorseful for what he does as she blurs the lines between innocent onlooker and willful participant between her indecent excitement of his violence-for-hire and her shame of rewarding him as she vicariously lives the criminal life from afar and becomes romantically entangled with Draxal.
All Draxal wants is Bell and for her to know that he will come home safe.
All Bell wants is Draxal but for him to know that she may not be his for much longer.
This is Landsholt’s debut novel and is part one of a possible trilogy dealing with sultry romance between Draxal, Bell, Bell’s college friends and Draxal’s seconds in command, the morality of criminal life and navigating a city where corruption and sin reach the highest seats in the land.
