Summary

It's a story of two modern day individuals who meet on a dating app and as conversations continue sometimes sweet sometimes salty....sometimes cold sometimes hot, sparks don't fly between these two like normal people! Neelu and Aabir are both hard working 20 somethings, while one is a hopeless romantic who had never been in a relationship, another one is a heartbroken soul! Neelu a depressed but hopeless romantic had been forced by her extroverted sisters to open a dating profile while in another corner of the same universe a hardworking Aabir who had recently gone through an intense break-up had been suggested to do the same by his friends to use a distraction. When they match however sparks don't fly, while Aabir remains adamant about dating a girl from the same city he can meet....the emphatic Neelu feels Aabir is the one. As the distance between two cities creates a gap between two potential lovers....can the farsighted Neelu convince the pragmatic Aabir to believe in the power of love once again? Can mere conversations in a dating app thaw the hearts of two vastly different people? Will they ever meet? Just like the dating apps glitching radius accidentally matched these two opposites, will it be able to turn it into a passionate Lovestory?

Chapter 1. A Midsummer night's dream

He was like the season of October, sometimes warm....but mostly and always cold.

I met him in July when I reluctantly installed a dating app amusingly named When we MATCHED!

Back then a month earlier I was just finished with my master's degree and had immediately joined a senior's chamber to begin my legal practice.

However since I didn't take even a week's break after 7 long years of studying I quickly felt into exhaustion. And a rapidly increasing fever had finally forced me to take a break at last. I studied law as a backup plan, my main goal was to become a writer. But eventually it took that many years to make up the back up that ultimately my real plan had already began fading from my memory!

This sudden fever though helped me to take some time out to think things out.

Earlier that month my manuscript was once again rejected by another publisher and I was feeling very demotivated.

My sisters had suggested me to try dating once to find me someone to talk to as I had been an eternal single.

But they were mistaken! What they called loneliness, was my blissful solitude. And I loved it very much.

Nevertheless that day I unwillingly took their advice and in a matter of a few minutes my dating profile was ready to be swiped right!

Alas, I was a choosey person and had very high standards....I ain't going to talk to just anyone. It took me a few days to even say a "Hi" to any guy I swiped right.

The worst feature I would say in that dating platform was simply that girls had to initiate the conversation first because of which guys had the chance to ghost them.....

After a few days of swiping left and right I finally found a few suitable matches ....but there was one black shirt guy holding a wine glass I thought was out of my league. Although I right swiped him first for his gorgeous looks, and then for his philosophical bio, something in me said "He was going to be a midsummer night's dream!"
