Chapter 1
Once upon a time not so long ago there was a girl who had no friends she was pretty lonely. But she chose to be alone by herself. The girl’s name is Adeline she was the most so beautiful girl some guys see. Every guy wanted to be with her just because of her looks. Also, every girl was jealous of her. Well, she had everything that they ever wanted.
Now Adeline is something else. She always talks a lot of shit about people behind their backs and to their faces. Adeline is so used to people doing what she wants, so it is her way or no way. She was quite spoiled. Adeline is smart and pretty and everyone thinks she is so great. What does she struggle with, you may ask? She struggles with making friends and finding new people to talk to. Adeline’s number one problem is she always hopes to fall in love. she has no judgment when she falls in love. So, she has been disappointed before by others she had loved before. Even if she is so beautiful and every guy wants her doesn’t mean every guy is not a good guy.
Adeline thinks love is some bullshit concept made by the human race. Sometimes, she overthinks what does it mean to fall deeply in love? Why do all these men of all ages fall in love with her so easily, but she can’t fall for them? Adeline tries not to think so much about these things, but she can’t help it. Sadly, even though those girls are jealous of her, she is jealous of them as well because she sees these girls having a great relationship.
Yet she can’t even find a good man. Sometimes in life, she wonders when she will stop getting disappointed by the same, old mundane love songs. Adeline longs for a love that is sweet as candy, hoping that she can live in a fairy tale. Maybe that was always her childhood dream. It is not what we imagine them to be.
Every time she said she wouldn’t fall in love, she did the opposite of what she intended. But this time she fell so deeply for a man she barely even talked to. Maybe it is her obsession. This man was perfect; he was everything she wanted. Even though she still cut him off, she still loves him deep down. That’s why she keeps asking herself these questions. Is she that stupid? I don’t think it is hard to move on when someone has your heart.
Well let’s look into her school life, shall we? She was homeschooled so she never goes out with friends. Sometimes she wishes she had a friend she can talk to face to face. With all this, she is a teenage girl with a lot of dreams. She used to even dream of getting married. When I say she was a hopeless romantic, I mean she has always been a person that wants to fall in love and then gets disappointed by a person. A person that lives in delusion and longs for true love.
