"I came to read this after a poll. I voted and this was the only one I didn't read of the options. It doesn't change my vote only because my choice was the 1st book to experience this author. Y.T Morgan is one of the best authors on this app. I dare even say they (I don't know gender, nor is it relevant) are on par to other great high fantasy authors such as J.R.R Tolkien and Robin Hobb etc., because Y.T Morgan does not simply write stories - they write absolute epic tales that literally place you in the center of the world and have you witness events as if you were part of the process. I've read a few of their stories and I'm always left amazed. This story is no different. The development of every character and their personal experiences are all unique to how Aki has affected them. Aki is an incredible person and if this were a realistic event, meaning time travel, I can see how a modern person transported to the 1500s can appear as intelligent as she is and how she is so easy to love. If you enjoy high fantasy do not pass this book up! So much depth, gripping emotion and levels to the story. This isn't a read. It's a journey! "

"Another wonderful treasure 💗 the author is as magical as the works shared. This immersive story will have you binge reading and spellbound. You'll easily be transported with the main character into a different time & enchanted as the story weaves and moves thru scenes on her journey. I flagged this book when it was first shared & while I'm thankful I waited upon it's completion as I'm a binge reader, I'm equally kicking myself for waiting as it was such a good read 🤣🥰 I won't get to into the story so you can be just as enthralled as I was but I highly recommend it, as well as the other works YT shares - equally just as good!! The series is of two parts & the 2nd is in progress. You have a wonderful world awaiting you, give it a shot, I promise you won't regret it 😉"
To good for words honestly
"Honestly, as I said in the title, to good for words- although I do think that awestruck is an understatement- it's true. And yeah, I did feel like a friend to the characters and I spent most of the half term reading this book (which was something I was looking forward to each day). The book, kind of, drags you in as it has a very enticing title and description to go along. All in all, from my personal experience, it makes you feel like you have a sort of friendship/connection to the characters. Overall, I just want to give my praise to the writer for their amazing talent for writing (slight understatement), and hope that they have great luck in the future if they chose to write more stories on here! 🎊🎉👍 "

"As the others have said, this story is absolute perfection. The bond between Aki and Mitsuhide is legendary. The author writes emotions, concepts and action in such fine detail and skill that it feels like I am watching in actual movie in HD, as well as feeling the emotions so keenly that I feel like I AM the actual characters themselves. They are so relatable. And I love it."
