Thinking About Thoughts
You may think of thoughts...
as these...troubling things...
& indeed!,
To [think] about thoughts...
You may perceive to be
An impossibly puzzling...paradoxical thing!
A pandora’s box ...riddled with mystery.
A rubik’s cube conundrum, infinite in perplexity..
Where every new breakthrough is just another matryoshka doll
Only seeming to be revealing ever unfolding layers of confounding complexity..
Getting you nowhere at all!
But, pshaw! Puh-lease.
First rule: It’s all good! Just breathe.
It’s really truly simple, you see: You could [think] of thoughts
As little movie-like scenes,
Floating across little bubble-like movie type screens
Maybe it might be, it could be just me
But I think thoughts ought to be thought of
As wondrous things!
And yet, you may say quite assuredly that
Not all thoughts are nice, why sometimes a thought that I think is ugly or sad or silly or mean!
& Yes, it’s true, yes, indeed.
If we take a thing
very seriously,
it becomes a serious thing!
But, if we let it go,
like a kite.
& simply look at it,
...with curiosity,
then we can laugh about it.
& suddenly it loses all trace and any semblance….
of S e r i o s i t y.
The most important thing,
That you, the thought-thinker,
should know, should see...
Is that;
What you think, well it's up to you.
YOU SET THE SCENE.
No use in- no don’t hope that it’s so!
You must know it's so.
But even if you don’t yet know,
you soon will see
That with your thoughts-
YOU are King! (Or Queen!)
But, the trick-- the key to being King,
Is knowing
Yes knowing is key:
So, know this:
You run the show, You set the scene. You choose the tone.
So grab the reigns!
You take the lead.
I know they say
′It's never nice to assume’,
& in much of life that’s true.
But
With your own thoughts, in your own mind,
On your own home turf...
There’s every reason on E A R T H
And so,
when the rising tide is growing
high in your mind...
When brainwave buildings
begin to collapse
and the waves come crashing down
Its righteous, epic, and bodacious
to rise above
its either sink or swim, so surf!
You see if I say
“You set the scene”
And you say
“Oh I disagree!”

Your disbelief, in the power of your own beliefs
Will only prove you right, in the worst kind of way.
You see?!
Even if you say ‘no’,
yes, even if you tell me,
with your heart on your hand
′Sir don’t be silly,
surely this cannot be so!’
Then, in a strange way, it won’t..because since you’re in charge, what you say goes...
So in a way, it becomes true. But its certainly no excuse.
Pawn-like pessimism &
sad self-pity
are strange things to see
coming from a King!
So if you’re getting a kick
out of kicking yourself when you’re down
Stop.
You’re not the jester, You’re not the clown.
So CUT. IT. OUT.
KING YOURSELF
Do it now.
Reclaim your throne. Take back your crown
REGAIN FULL REIGN OF YOUR REALM

THIS
IS
YOUR
WORLD
NOW.
