Summary

These are short stories taken from my journal about my life changing encounters with both a Wendigo and a Skinwalker. You don’t need to believe these encounters actually happened but all I can say is, lucky for you, you're not the one that lived through them. For those that do believe, read carefully and listen wisely as some of this information might save your life one day! But whatever side you're on, believer or nonbeliever I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures.

Chapter 1

Wendigos may not

be what you think

Hello my name is Steven and I want to educate you about the Wendigo. First things first they are not the same as a Skinwalker, you’re probably wondering or possibly scoffing at the fact that I’m claiming I can educate you about this Mythological myth. What can I say apart from secondly they’re not a myth! I’ve been around too long on this earth to make this stuff up. The fact is I’ve been very unfortunate to meet one of each kind.

Let’s start with the Wendigo. A few years ago I was travelling around Canada from coast to coast starting in Whitehorse near Yukon and ending in Vancouver. The encounter happened in a forest somewhere near the Revillagigedo Island. The only reason I know this is because I could see the darn thing through the trees. I honestly thought about swimming over to it when the sun rose but I was also thinking about what the hell I was going to eat that night as the sun was just about to set and I hadn’t gone hunting or fishing yet so I climbed higher and deeper in the forestry as I’d been lucky enough to find jackrabbits, pine martens, deer or there could have been caribou thinking about it now but I’ll just call them deer and I saw moose a few time… managed to take one down once and had food for two weeks out of it but it did knock me silly before I landed the killing blow, but I digress let’s get back to it.

Bound to Kill

mmslanker: Bound to kill was a fun read. I really liked the plot, but it did start to feel like it was rushed and hopping around towards the middle to the end. There were a couple of red herrings and surprises that made the story more interesting, and I enjoyed the inclusion of multiple supernatural species and...
