Shay had a complicated two years. After the accident that changed the course of her life Shay moved out of the Upper East Side to a quiet town just outside of New York City called Mountain Lakes.

The accident that changed her life involved her twin sister Sky, herself and Maddison- the other driver. Shay wanted to be like her father and brother, she wanted to save lives. However things were drastically different, Shay covered for Sky and told the police she drove while Sky fled the scene. Shay was arrested and somehow her mugshot was leaked.

In an instant, Shay was thrown into a huge spin of her life. Shay had to give up on her dream to be a doctor. She considered working for her family business; the Haze Industries, with her uncle and brother but she wasn’t interested in that line of work. Instead, Shay took the opportunity of the leaked mugshot, she became an Instagram model and influencer.

Shay worked hard, trying to clean her image and the leaked mugshot. Trying to rewrite her past, eventually the truth about the accident was leaked. There was proof that Sky was behind the wheel and was driving under the influence, they both were slightly intoxicated.

Although the truth was out there two years later, not many believed her. Many thought that her family had paid off the judges and the police force but that wasn’t the truth. It was far from the truth but she didn’t care anymore. Shay had done everything she could to move on.

Maddison was the person in the other car. The driver that died, not from the accident but overdosed thus causing the accident. What she didn’t know about the accident was that Maddison had a boyfriend.

Long story short, Shay fell in love with someone by the name of Ethan. Ethan was a billionaire and a family friend, and meeting him was by chance- or she thought. Although Shay rejected Ethan in the beginning, she warmed up to him and allowed him in her heart. Falling in love with him was easy, he was there for her and they were moving in with each other in weeks.

Shay was a virgin before Ethan, and she planned on saving herself for marriage. She was comfortable with her sexuality and in her own body, despite being a virgin. Etthan never pressured her to do more than she was comfortable with but eventually she slept with him. He proposed soon after and everything was going well.

One day a sex tape was leaked and she was shocked. Her reputation was ruined and things went out of control. Shay found out Ethan had accepted a bet against her. A bet for her virginity and a 20% share of his best friend’s company A&C. A bet that forever changed her life, breaking up with Ethan was the hardest thing she had to do but she didn’t trust him anymore. She believed that he never cared for her and it was all just another game to them.

Shay confronted Asher, Ethan’s best friend; she wanted to find out why Asher made the bet in the first place. Shay found out that Maddison was his girlfriend and she died, without knowing the whole truth, Asher took revenge on her. He wanted to ruin her and the life she built. Recording her was his idea and he did it, humiliating her.

After all Shay shifted out of her apartment. Staying in her stepmother’s place for a while. Shifting in while she found another place in the city, Shay had to figure things out in her life. Shay was pregnany with Ethan’s babies, even though she lied to him and told him she had an abortion. Shay planned to raise the twins on her own, away from the world and away from the person who broke her heart.
