Chapter One
“Warriors aren’t made they are born”
The Castle West Lane
Endless screaming and bloodshed filled the castle grounds.
“We need to get out of here,” Jada said. She could sense that all the witches and warlocks that were fighting were now dead. The demons and humans had won.
“They are coming for the secret bolt.” Jada said, “We must leave now."
“No!” Layla answered, “We cannot back down from a fight.”
“Everyone is dead, Layla, and the eight of us can’t stop an entire army,” Selina declared, and the others agreed. “Helena said we should leave if things get sour,” Jada added. Layla nodded her head. This was her only home.
The witches of Castle Lane were the only family she knew, but it was all gone now. Deep in her heart, she knew leaving was their only option, but she refused to accept that. She wanted everything to return to the way it was before the war.
“You guys leave now,” Layla said in a cold voice.
“No,” Diedra cried, “I can’t leave you here.”
Layla smiled at her best friend’s words, but she wouldn’t let anyone die with her if she was powerless to change what had occurred. She will destroy everything on the castle grounds.
“As your leader, I order that you depart immediately.” The seven witches and warlocks were distraught, but they obeyed their leader.
There must be a way to turn back time in the book of geriatrics. She mumbled to herself. As soon as this thought hit her mind a loud bang came on the door, followed by the warriors shouting.
"Some of them must be hiding in there. I could feel it in my bones. ” No! Before she could think, the door crashed open, and the warriors surged into the chamber and froze.
“What an impressive witch.” The demon lord, Baltimore, clapped his hands. “But why didn’t you freeze them from the beginning?” He laughed. She shook her head, “Magic shouldn’t be exposed to humans, Baltimore.” They were all banned from using their magic in the war. They fought the humans with arrows and knives, which cost them their defeat.
“You witches are so foolish. You allowed the humans to defeat you," he says coldly. “For what? To hide magic from them, but not anymore."
Layla despises the way her people perish. They died hiding their true selves because if they showed who they were, their entire family would have been wiped out by humans. Those who fight against the human warriors die for the greater good, but she would never forget that it was the demons who caused the war in the first place.
Baltimore bowed evilly in victory as he raised his hand to unfreeze the warrior, but to his surprise, the warrior remained frozen, and a circle appeared around him on the ground. “What is happening?” he cried in a dreadful voice. She smiled at him.
“You are contained in this magical circle Baltimore,” she said with a smile. “You are the source of all this corruption and the deaths of many.”
“There are two spells in the book of geriatrics; one is to turn back the flow of time and the other is to put an end to all of this madness and end its legacies.” There is a time for everything, and for everything, there is a time. In reversing the flow of time, every event that has ever occurred will be repeated.
" The elders forbid you to use the forbidden spells from the book of geriatrics,” Baltimore said.
“It’s too late to protect what the elderly want or need.” She shook her head and began chatting in an ancient language. Soon, flames appeared everywhere, then everything melted away as if the castle never existed.

There are rare and sublime moments of fancy that engulf us as we enter into the magical realm, a realm sometimes filled with unspeakable horrors. The entrance to such realms are granted by imaginative writers where for a while we are whisked far from reality!
It's a lovely book thus far. Author, when will you update?
