Anna pov.

I just shifted from New York to Carmel. I am now in my small apartment setting my clothes and furniture. New York is a very busy state to be honest but my dark past made me come here in Carmel. I used to be very happy. But it is said that one incident can ruin everything.

This is all my past now I should move on with my life and forget my past. Its really difficult I sit down and look at the window the trees that are so calm the roads full of busy people but unlike new York. How will start my life here with unknown people. Just as I was thinking my mom my saviour called me. I answered the call immediately.

HELLO MOM.

HELLO MY DARLING HOW ARE YOU.

I AM GUD MOM HOW ARE YOU.

My mom is a single mom so it's always me and her.

I talked to my mom for like an half an hour and she was quite sad that I'm not with her she really loves me. After talking to my mom I heard some rumbling in my stomach indicating that I'm really hungry. I walk up to the kitchen and start cooking I really enjoy cooking it makes me forget everything. I made a some fries and fried fish this is my favourite with some mayo sauce and tomato sauce. I was setting up the table and then ate at silence.

After I was done eating I washed the dishes and watched some TV series show one of my favourite.

ROY POV.

I don't know for how long I had been working i was at a point of collapsing due to work. I had to prepare all the stuff for next week lecture. New semester new students it happens every year. Every year students come and go and I actually feel good when my students go to good career lines. I'm a a PROFFESSOR at Carmel university and I teach commerce. Sounds hard but gets easier once you have grabbed my concepts.

I was on this chair since afternoon 3:00 and now it is 10:00 at night. I can see the city lights and the cars coming and going. I feel good after watching this. After some time I feel that I need a glass of wine. I walk up to my kitchen and find some wine and pour it in a glass.

I was drinking wine when all the past events were crossing my mind something I can never ever forget and also neither I want to. This world is mean. I got to know it the hard way. I worked at a restaurant, then had to go to the rehab center and then got a job at Carmel university. Next week is going to be my first week as a PROFFESSOR.

After having wine remembering the past events I went to my house office and started writing an email to alert my students about the materials that they are expected to read by next week.

ANNA POV

After watching my favourite show I got hungry again and decided to eat something. I got up and made a packet of noodles. After eating I washed my dishes and then headed to my room.

I opened my laptop and received an email. It was from Mr Roy my would be PROFFESSOR. I open the email and read it carefully.

Dear student.

Hope you guys are doing good. I have sent the materials that you should and must read. In the next week class I'm going to ask questions and if you cannot answer I will be compelled to remove you from class. I have certain rules and I don't like anyone over stepping them. Don't entertain me with your nonsense I don't tolerate nonsense and if any of you have any problem in reading the materials you can drop now and at this moment.

HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND.

I read the email and from what I read I realised I will have a tough time with this PROFFESSOR. His email was as if he was insulting us indirectly but I would care less because it's not like I have stay with him the whole day it's just one hour Mon to friday. I hope I have a smooth semester. Over the weekend I was busy reading the materials that MR ROY had sent. I didn't want to embarrass myself in the first session. After I was done I removed a dress for wearing tommorow.

I got a white colour shorts and a black shirt. I think that would be good. I said to myself and went to sleep.

Anna POV.

I woke up on Monday morning with my alarm I rush to the bathroom take a good hot shower. After the shower I called my mom for ten minutes. After my morning routine I headed to university. When I entered in I was mesmerized by the view. It was so beautiful everyone at a point we're busy.

After coming out of my tiny world I decided to look for my class it's not good to be late on the first day. I was a bit curious why some girls were looking at me. But I just refused to look at them and find my way.

I was walking towards the hallway that's when I bump in a hard chest and fall down on the floor. I was a bit pissed and said.

HEY CANT YOU SEE.

The man widen his eyes and looks at me. His eyes were brown in colour. They were so so beautiful that I could not stop looking at them. Then I hear him speak.

Hey miss I can see but I guess your eyes are not working properly.

I was quite pissed when I heard his words his eyes were no longer beautiful those brown eyes were looking into my soul and I hated it. This man Infront of me had no manners.

I gathered my things and left from the hallway mumbling. He noticed that and just smiled. His smile was beautiful. I mentally slap myself for thinking like this. I should not think like this I should know my past my limits. I made my way to my class room and found it.

ROY POV.

I was walking towards my office that's when I bump hard in a girl. She was so fragile that she fell down. I didn't look at her first but her voice echoed in my ears.

I then looked at her, she was so beautiful she had brown eyes, long eyelashes, rosy pink lips, and such a soft skin. I could feel myself getting attracted but I knew it was forbidden. My past is not so good and I'm not ready. Then I hear her voice I got angry that how dare she raise her voice at me.

She's so beautiful that I can't stop looking at her pink lips. I felt like to grab her and take her somewhere far from here. But I don't want to ruin anyone's life my life is ruined destroyed. Whoever comes on my contact gets ruined. She grabs her stuff and gets out of there. I breathe in relief when I see her leaving I follow her until she disappears.

I walk to my office and start preparing for my next class. The girl could just not leave my mind I was thinking about her until I entered the classroom I was supposed to teach.

ANNA POV.

I enter the class and find a front seat. I prefer front seat because I don't want to be in anyone's contact neither make friends. A girl with brown hair approaches me and sits down next to me. I observe every move and then she gives me a knowing smile. I smile back at her.

She asks my name I tell her my name.

Just then I removed my laptop and sat down the guy not leaving my mind his brown hair, brown eyes a bit of beard, his Adam apple, his lips. Oh god this is just too much to handle I hope to never meet him again.

The noise around me calms down and everyone stops whispering and sit down on their tables.

I got surprised and look up and saw the face that I never wanted to see. The guy, the mannerless guy the one I wanted to never see never breathe in his direction.

He puts his stuff down and introduces himself and that's when I got to know he is my PROFFESSOR. I started shivering and my throat became dry. Oh god how am I going to live the whole semester.

ROY POV.

I entered the classromm and everyone had settled down at that time. The time I roam my eyes my eyes fall on a particular person I wanted to see but at the same time I did not want to see. I ignore all my feelings and introduce myself.

Hello class I'm your new PROFFESSOR and I would be teaching you guys commerce. I hope we have a good time together.

I looked at the girl and she was a bit shocked after seeing me.

I will start taking attendance now.

Anna POV

He was taking names one by one and I was shivering at my side what will happen if he takes my name will be give me detention or what will he do. Questions after questions.

After some time he said my name.

I put my hand up and say present sir. I sttutter.
