Chapter 1
SKYLAR POV "Skylar aren't you ready for school? "Mrs Rose shouted downstairs. "I'm coming mum! I woke up having this weird feeling about today and yes that's because i'd be going to a new School. Since i was a child I hated hanging out with friends I didn't have friends, mom was always busy at work and always went on business trips. Dad left us when I was 3 years. I've always be a loner, mom thought I needed a new environment so we moved out of California and here we are in New York. It's a nice Place but I don't think i can change. I'm so used to being a lone always looking like a nerd and no one wanted to associate with me at school.I got up, brushed my teeth, took my bath wore a Pink floral gown with white sneaker, packed my hair in bun despite having a shiny, waist length dark hair. I'm not the makeup type so yea I'm ready for School. I went downstairs to meet mum. She'll be giving me a ride to School today. I finally got to School feeling nervous. I walked into my class and a young pretty lady who would probably be in her early thirties welcomed me in. Her name was Miss Jackson. She asked me to introduce my self to the class and assigned a seat to me. Everyone eyes were all on me and I became really shy. I could hear them saying different things
"Is she a new student"
"Why does she look like a nerd?"
I was assigned a seat and after about 2 more classes I heard the bell indicating lunch time.
