Introduction to Amber
Amber Harvest, was a typical 15 year old girl, she went to school, she got A's and B's in her classes, she had friends, and a family, she had people in her life she wished she could avoid, and yet there was something about her, something that made you think she was wise beyond her years, and at the same time, she was younger and more childlike then a 15 year old should be. This is the story of a remarkable young girl, with a mysterious past, and a fantastical future, and a present that can't make up it's mind.
Our story starts on a bright sunny day, in the middle of summer. Amber woke from a nightmare. She has been having nightmares all her life, like most of us I imagine, so you may be wondering why this unimportant fact is indeed important. That is because of Who Amber Harvest is. You see once ever 777 years there is one person who is given a gift, or a curse. That all depends on how you use the gift. Anyways, Amber was chosen to have this gift. I can't tell you what it is, that is for you to figure out.
Amber sat shivering in her bed, the nightmare still fresh in her mind, she couldn't shake this feeling that something was about to happen. Amber finally got out of bed and made her way to her closet, when she opened it she gasped to find that the door didn't open into her closet, but a handsome drawing room, furnished with a Victorian era style. Amber turned to look behind her and saw her bed and desk, all her posters on the walls. But when she looked back into her closet, it was her closet again. She opened and closed her door a few times, but the glimpse of the drawing room never came back.
