Summary

Friday Anderson is living in post-adulthood. Her mother is a (recently) divorced nurse, while her sister is a narcissistic drama-queen. When going to art-school, she develops a friendly relationship with her professor; one that is, perhaps, too friendly.

Chapter 1


The sun was fully up as Friday lied stomach-first flat on the chair outside. It was completely silent, that was up until someone else immediately entered the picture.

“What’re you doing?” that someone quickly asked in a shocked tone. By the sound of it, it was quite clearly another young female.

In which, Friday slowly turned and looked up. “Hi, Stacy.”

“Yeah, hi, what the hell’re you doing?”

Friday then moved her eyes in random directions. “What?”

“Well,” Stacy elaborated, “By the looks of it, you’re clearly bare-ass-naked!”

Upon hearing this, Friday immediately shrugged. “Yeah, and?”

With an aggravated shrug, Stacy added, “And for all you know, the goddamn neighbors could be watching!”

“You really shouldn’t say that,” Friday responded as she slowly turned her body and sat up.

“What-fucking-ever, okay ...!”

“I highly doubt there’s anyone else around to spy on me.”

Crossing her arms, Stacy then gave Friday a firm and slightly sarcastic look. “Oh really?”

“Yeah,” Friday responded with a shrug. “I mean, you’re the one yelling loud enough for someone to hear, so ...”
