My eyes kept drifting closed. History is the most boring class ever invented. No one would care if I closed my eyes for a minute, would they?
11:05
I woke up feeling something touch my back. Probably someone telling me my bus is here. I look around to see that the lights were off and no one was here. I checked my phone. 11:05. How did everyone forget about me? How did my parents? Well, it doesn’t matter now. I pick up my things and walk to the door, hoping that it’s unlocked. It’s open. I thought they locked the doors to the classrooms. I walked into the hallway and headed for the front office.
11:14
I keep hearing weird noises. Like stuff falling, footsteps, and something else. I don’t know how to describe it. The footsteps don’t sound like human footsteps. When I look around, I don’t see anyone there. I keep walking.
11:26
I’m hiding in the janitor’s closet. There’s something out there and it’s not human. I can’t call anyone and my texts won’t go through. I don’t know what to do.
11:40
The back doors won’t open and the glass is too thick to break. My only choice is the front doors.
12:00
I saw it. It’s shaped like a dog. A big one. It doesn’t have any eyes, only empty sockets. Its claws are huge and its tail has spikes. I can see its bones through its skin.
12:10
I don’t think I’ll make it. It saw me. It managed to claw up my back. I’m back in hiding.
12:24
I’ve lost too much blood. My only option is to try and make it to the front. I don’t see it anywhere in the hallways so I should be able to make it to the front.
12:40
It’s so hard to move. The cuts in my back are still bleeding, but most of it has stopped. I hear it. I think it’s in the hall to my right. It sounds like it’s tearing through the lockers.
12:52
I don’t know if I will be able to make it to the front. It heard me. It had gotten a hold of my leg and tore it up. I can barely move.
1:00
I got to the front. I can’t get the door open. It’s behind me.
1:05
It got me.

“Looks like it got another one”
“Yep.”
“I guess we have to clean this up before anyone gets here.”
