When The Sun Loves The Moon
Once upon a time, in a time long forgotten, there was a pool. The pool was large yet small, and the moon bathed the pool with her light, for when she was full- the pool was filled with her light, and her power was at its peak. In the pool lived four fish. Two were almost identical- 3 feet long with silver scales near their eyes and flowy tails. There was simply one difference between the two fish, one was blue and the other was orange. The two fish never cared of their differences, for they circled one another all day long, and all night long, one circle becoming one minute, and 60 circles becoming an hour, and 1440 circles becoming a day and night. The two fish kept their world in balance showing all the creatures when it was time to sleep, and when it was time to awaken. Inside the two fishes circle there were two smaller fish. These two fish circled themselves as well, a perfect reflection of the bigger fish, but with more colors that reflected the sunset and the sunrise. They lived like this for eons, until the earth gave them humans, and there was a young girl, who wandered into the pool. She saw the small fish and grasped both of them, the sunset and sunrise gone. The two bigger fish were scared, and tried to save their friends, losing their lives as well. For seven days, and seven nights, the world was covered in blinding light, having no sun or moon to guide the world, when there became a family of lions, the Parents and the children, embedded with the spirit of the fish, the lions roared, the world basked in sun once more, and the cycle returned, and the lions made sure, that every animal would have it’s turn protecting the world.
