Aaron sighed, then nodded, feeling his eyes moisten up. It has already been five years. Five years of trying to push her away. And all thoughts of her. But he couldn't think of anything else to say. He nodded as the camera turned on him again, then sucked on his lips, the first tear dropping as if on cue.
"When I saw you heavily pregnant...I wished that child was mine. When you walked down that aisle, I hoped to be the man in front. Not like I don't want to be friends with you, but...I hoped it would stop being the only thing that defined us. I hoped at some point, I could...love you. It was getting too heavy to carry on my own. Aaron grabbed a tissue and dabbed at his eyes, his lips parting as he tried to breathe. "It...is for my best friend. My best friend of eighteen years."
