The Creature

Hi, I’m Leah Miller, I’m just an ordinary 15-year-old girl, well I thought I was ordinary. Okay it was just an ordinary day, I was just getting ready for baseball practice, and I was really excited, I really hoped that I wouldn’t get made fun of if I don’t do too well, but I wasn’t that worried. When I was done getting ready, I went to my baseball practice. After a long day of baseball practice, I wanted to go for a walk in the dark, so I grabbed my house keys and put my shoes back on and went for a walk. When I was walking through the park, I saw something in the distance, I thought “it could just be a child, but its 11:32 at night, so why would a child be at a playground at this time of night? “. So, I just thought of just to keep walking and ignore whatever it is. But then the creature stood up and started walking towards me, so I started to back away slowly, then the creature started running towards me. I was getting scared, and I was over thinking things.

Then I yelled “GO AWAY!!!!“. The creature stopped and started to run away. I was so relieved, so I started to walk back home. The next day, I woke up and got ready to go to the gym. When I arrived at the gym, I saw the creature again but in the dark closet in the back of the gym. I was thinking “why is it here? why did it have to be here? “. So, I took some deep breathes and tried to ignore it. Then I started to work out. An hour later when I was done, the creature was gone, I was worried but relieved. I was thinking “where did the creature go? “. So, I started to walk to my bike, then out of nowhere the creature was standing right by my bike. I was terrified, I didn’t know what to do, I was freaking out. Then I thought “what do I do?! Should I ask it to leave? Yes, I should ask it to leave.” So, I yelled “PLEASE LEAVE!!!!!“. The creature just stood there... doing nothing, and then out of nowhere the creature disappeared. I was relieved. A few weeks later I haven’t seen the creature in a while, it was suspicious. So, I thought “maybe the creature left? “.

That’s all I thought of, but I don’t really think the creature is gone for good. I was actually freaking out but at the same time I was curious, but I didn’t know what to do. So, when I was done thinking, I went to do my homework, until...*Boom* *Boom* *Boom* I heard a knock at my front door, I was going to check until I looked out my window and saw the creature just standing there looking through my window, staring at me. I was terrified so all I did was hide in my closet and did not come back out till the morning. When the sun came up, I was actually really happy that the sun had come up. I walked out of my closet to the creature standing by my bed, staring at me, I was terrified. I didn’t move one bit that’s how scared I was. I slowly started backing into the closet then the creature walked a little closer to me, I looked to my left and saw my baseball bat and decided to grab my baseball bat and try to swing at the creature. When I grabbed it and swung the baseball bat at the creature, the creature disappeared. I was so worried the creature would show up again, but it didn’t, I was so relieved that the creature didn’t come back for me.
