Beginning

You never realize what you have until you loose it.

Our story began many years ago on the coast of Waterford in 1952. A young 15 year old boy named Calm Malory gets up out of bed.

He has bright red hair, and a face full of freckles, he's a tall, skinny young boy. He lifts himself up out of his bed and walks to the bathroom to freshen up and wash his teeth and once finished he strolls over to his calendar hanging on his bedroom wall and looks at the date June 15 and remembers its the day he's been waiting for, for so long.

The day he goes back to Dunhill island, Calm hears the doorbell ring from downstairs, he scurries to get his cloths on and hurries down stairs to answer the door.

While rushing downstairs his dog Marley a small corgi almost get his head kicked by Calm's foot as he jumps out of the way for his anxious owner to answer the door.

He flings the door open revealing his friends, Maya Makler, Isla Dalia, and Elliot Conley, his childhood friends he met in school.

Maya had dark long black hair and freckles across her nose, She had rosy red cheeks and a calm gentle smile.

Elliot had short blond hair and blue eyes, he was cheeky yet short tempered and tended to bicker with the others a lot.

Isla was tall with very long dark brown hair, and a beautiful smile with light green eyes you could get lost in.

They came inside and began exited conversation about their visit to to Dunhill island, a small island off the shore of Waterford, and owned by calm grandfather and passed down to his father and to soon be passed down to him.

The island is full of dense forests, thick hard trees, lively animals, and beautiful beaches Calm explains. The four of them planned to stay on the island two weeks of there summer holidays and bond as a group for the coming school year.

Just then calms mother walks in. She had shot red hair, was quiet short and hadn't a single freckle on her face. She asked their three visitors it they would like anything to eat but the group said they were fine.

She tells the four that they are not leaving until the following morning and they should go up to calms room to start to pack for their holiday. The four of them agree and dart up to calms room to pack everything they need.

Up in calms room they each ask more questions about the island. Calm explains how on their visit they are going to be staying in his grandfathers old house on the cliffs of the island, "the house is said to be YEARS old and probably has old artifacts in it that we can bring home, "AND we will have the ENTIRE island all to themselves".

The others cant believe what they're hearing and get more and more exited to sail out to the island in the morning. They finish packing up everything they need a few hours later, beginning to discuss their holiday getaway once again.

Calm's parents didn't mind their son and his friends going to stay at Dunhill as the family had visited it many times and believed it to be a very safe place, the animals were all harmless and the water was shallow on the beaches.

When night fell the air was cold and dark, up above the sky was sprinkled with bright, shining stars. Our four friends laid down on the floor gazing up at the ceiling above them.

What do you think we'll get up too? Isla asks. I'm sure we'll have lots of things to do and lots of fun while doing them, Elliot replies. I'm sure we'll see lots of wild animals and make them our friends, Maya says jokingly.

I don't know what we'll get up to but whatever it is I'm sure we'll have lots of fun and a ton of laughs together, said Calm, and Everyone else agreed.

That night the group fell asleep some hours later, it was hard for them to sleep as the thrill of the next morning kept them up most the night. They continued exited talk about their holiday all night long. The following morning just as the sun started to peak over the horizon, our four characters were out on the beach loading up all their essentials into the boats that would take them to the island.

Elliot was packing his boat which he would share with Calm and the two girls were setting up their own boat.

Calm was talking to his mother before the boats were ready and she told him about a hidden cave his grandfather found long ago and said was one of the best views he had ever seen, Calm wanted to go and see this sight and became even more exited to reach the shore of Dunhill.

Calm said goodbye as the boat engine's began to roar. Calms mother handed him a key and explained that it will open the front door to the house on the island, Calm took the key off his mother and clenched it in his fist, he then bounced into the boat and they took off heading for the island and our characters waved goodbye to Calms mother sailing out into the open sea.

The adventure had just begun.
