“Serena sweetie, can you please stop by the grocery store near our house on your way over? Mitch forgot to get cheese and crackers. Oh and pick up some red wine please. Oh and some mint chocolate chip ice-cream-”
“AND SOME MILK! TELL HER MILK!” I heard Uncle Mitch yell out in the background.
“Mitch! How did you forget so much?! - And some milk as well sweetie.”
“Sure thing Uncle Cam.”
“Can’t wait to have you with us! See you soon! Love you!”

Ok, I’ve got the cheese and the crackers. Just need milk, red wine and mint chocolate ice-cream. Milk is closest so I headed that way first. Can check that off my list now.
“Ooo! Banana milk! My favourite! Oh and it’s the last packet!” I said out loud to myself. I took the last packet and popped it in the basket I was carrying and headed off to find the wine.
While I headed to the alcohol section I overheard some guys chatting loudly behind me.
“Aww! All the banana milk is gone! Hyung! What should I do?”
I looked over my shoulder and saw quite a tall guy, wearing a black hoodie and pants, with a black bucket hat over his black hair. I think I could see some earrings hanging off his ears too which made him look kinda hot.
He was standing next to another tall guy with broad shoulders who was wearing a black cap, pink hoodie and black pants who was grabbing some milk. That one was super handsome.
“You could just get strawberry milk Jungkook-ah.” The pink guy said to the black one.
So the one in black is called Jungkook then?
“But it’s not my favourite Hyunuung”
I decided to carry on with what I was doing and walked further into the alcohol section while I could faintly hear the Jungkook guy whining some more that he didn’t get to have his banana milk.
I sort of felt bad now that I took the last packet... but I got to it first so... too bad for him I guess.
The red wine I wanted was quite high up and I had to go on my tippy-toes to try reach for it. My fingers could just touch it but I was too short to actually grab it.
“Need some help?”
I slightly jumped and looked to my right and saw the Jungkook guy was looking at me with kind doe-eyes. His eyes were beautiful and dark brown.
Wow. He’s really handsome up close.
I didn’t answer him straight away as I was too busy staring at his facial features. He had some cute moles on his nose and under his lip, and a faint scar on his left cheek that I could just see as the angle from the light shone on him.
I quickly shook out of my thoughts and nodded my head. “Yes, please. Just that one there.” I pointed to the red wine I wanted.
I then felt his hand on my waist and his chest slightly against my back as he went to reach for the wine. I got tingles and shivered at his touch. I haven’t felt that from a guy in a while. It gave me butterflies.
He brought the wine down and handed it to me.
“Thank you.” I said and gave him a sweet smile.
“No problem.” He said and gave me a really sweet smile. He’s beautiful, I thought.
“Jungkook-ah! Come help me pick the meat for dinner!” I heard the pink guy say from a few aisles away.
“Coming!” He quickly bowed to me then turned around and left me to do the rest of my shopping.
I went and got myself some snacks while I was here and then I remembered the mint chocolate chip ice-cream.
I walked to the frozen section and when I found them I went to grab the handle but at the same time another hand also went to grab the handle. Our fingers touched and we both retracted our hands quickly from the handle and both quickly apologised to each other.
It was the Jungkook guy again.
“Oh! Hi again!” He smiled at me.
I smiled back and blushed slightly. Why am I blushing? I’m used to many guys flirting with me. Is it because he’s not actually flirting that I’m attracted to him like this?
“You like mint chocolate chip ice-cream too?” He asked me and his doe-eyes went wide with excitement. What a gorgeous and cute feature.
“Hm? Oh! Yes! My uncles and I love that flavour.” I replied with a smile.
“Me and my other hyung, Hobi, are the only ones who like this flavour. My other friends hate it. They think it tastes like toothpaste.” He chuckled as he opened the freezer, grabbed two packets and handed me one.
He’s so polite! “Oh! Thank you!” I said as I took the one he gave me. “You’ve been a real help for me tonight.” I looked away shyly with a smile.
“No worries. Happy to help.”
We both just stared at each other with shy smiles on our faces. I don’t know what it was in his eyes but they were just so kind. They weren’t filled with lust like I normally see in men when they look at me. I didn’t want to look away...
“Jungkook-ah~ Did you get your favourite ice-cream at least?” The pink guy came up next to Jungkook and asked him. He noticed me and said hello with a bright wide smile.
Gosh they are both so handsome...
What is wrong with me?! I’ve seen and fucked some handsome guys before! How is this any different? Maybe because they don’t recognise me? If they did then they would’ve said something by now...
“Well, thanks for helping me.” I said to Jungkook. “I must be going now. My uncles are waiting for me.”
“Have a good night!” The Jungkook guy said to me.
“Yeah, you both as well.” I smiled then turned and walked to the counter while the two guys went to the snack aisle.
Because that Jungkook guy was so kind to me today, I decided I would be nice to him too.
Once I paid for the groceries, I opened the packet and gave 3 banana milk bottles to the cashier lady and told her to give these to the guy in black. I told her to let him know that they are my thanks for him helping me and being so nice.
She gave me a smirk and said, “This is how it starts.”
“How what starts?” I asked her, confused.
“You’ll find out eventually, my Dear. Have a good night now.”
“Thank you...” and I walked out slightly confused.
