Important Things (Choi Namra x Oc ) [COMPLETED]

Kim Shi Hyun a working student from Hyosan High that works in a restaurant just a few blocks away from her rented apartment. The girl doesn't like talking, or more like she can't hold a conversation with someone as she finds it hard to think of what she should say to them, the others find the girl a cold student who ignored everyone but some of them thinks the opposite. She's not a cold person they just think that the girl doesn't like talking as she's always silent but will answer them if they ask some questions.

It was already dark as her shift starts at 5 pm and ended at 10 pm, she's been working on the restaurant ever since she was 12 after she got out from the orphanage when she turned on that age and has been providing herself with everything that she needs.

She let out a sigh as she felt some pain on her shoulders and back, the restaurant has been packed with people that doesn't gave her some time to rest even a little. Walking inside the building, she starts walking through the elevator as she's not in the mood to take the stairs. Reaching the floor on where her apartment is located, the girl walked on the hallway silently as there is no one who's awake other than her. Shihyun walked inside her place and put the backpack on the small couch as she took some of her paperworks that she needs to finish for her project and work on it until midnight.

The next morning comes as Shihyun woke up and get ready for another school day, wearing her picked uniform and tied her necktie neatly before she took her converse shoes. The girl wore a black coat with white long sleeve on the inside and wore some pants as she felt uncomfortable wearing skirts. Her black long hair are neatly tied on a ponytail as there is some strings of hair that fell as they can't be tied together. She took her backpack after making sure that she had everything inside it before walking outside and starts walking to the school.

Arriving at the school, Shi walked on the other side of the building to hand in her project to the teacher before she bow a little at him and left. There are some students greeting the girl as she would just bow a little at them and not say anything, even though the girl never talk to them some of those students still finds the girl attractive and being a silent person added to it more as it makes her a mysterious person. And it comes to the girl who noticed her walking on the side of the building, the girl quickly walked towards her before stopping a little.

“ Shi” the girl called for her as she stopped on her tracks and look at the person who called for her name. Nam Onjo, the girl stared back at her before giving her a smile. Shi didn't say anything and bow a little before she enter inside the building to find her room. Nam onjo followed the girl's figure with her eyes until she can't see her back anymore, the girl let out a sigh before she walked inside as she adjusted the other bag on her front that she's carrying and rushed to follow the girl.

Shi are walking slowly on the stairs when some quick footsteps followed her and the girl from earlier, Onjo stopped in front of her a few steps away causing her to stop as well. She looked at the girl who's panting a little from running as some strands of hair fell on her face. The girl took a deep breath before she look at her in the eyes.

Onjo felt like her heart skip a beat when she felt the girl's stare at her, taking a deep breath she looked up at the girl in front of her. She observed the girl's appearance noticing that she's wearing some pants, she knew that the girl must not be comfortable with skirts as she's wearing the boys outfit instead though it made her more attractive wearing those. Her cheeks burned a little at the thought until she came back to reality and blinked the thought away, the girl still staring at her.

“ Shi.. can you meet me at the rooftop later at lunch?” she asked the girl who didn't say anything and just look at her. Onjo felt a little bit awkward about it as she looked down while biting her lower lips.

“ I can't.. I'm on the other side of the building until lunch” she said as Onjo look up at her when she heard her voice. It was low and deep that she wonder how could a girl like her have that kind of voice, it was unfair for the other boys as they always heard for some of the students how attractive her deep voice is that they can't help but to feel a little bit jealous that the quiet girl managed to attract girls and women without doing anything. Onjo nodded her head slowly with a little bit of disappointment. Just when i already have the confidence... Sigh she thought as she looked down.

“ Is it important? You can tell it to me now” she continue as Onjo's cheeks burned at the thought of what she's about to talk with the girl later. She's contemplating if she should say it now or just find another time but she knew it will take some time again to have the confidence that she had now.. and so she took another deep breath before she put her right hand inside her pocket as her left hand took the girl's hand, surprising her at the contact.

Shi's eyes widened a bit when the girl took her hand and suddenly put something to it, the girl step back a little after that as she looked down on her palm and again her eyes widened a bit in surprise as she saw what the girl had put on her hand. It was her name tag written on it is her name ‘ Nam Onjo’, before she looked back up on the girl in surprise. Giving someone your name tag only meant one thing, they wanted to go out with the person in romantic way.

“ This.. ” Shi can't find the right words to say as she's still a bit shocked at the sudden revelation. Onjo can tell that the girl is surprise based on her eyes that's blinking a little bit faster. She let out a small smile with her cheeks still burning before she turned around and quickly walked upstairs leaving the girl alone on her thoughts.

Noticing that the girl are gone, Shi sigh a little before she put the name tag on her pocket and starts walking again to her room. Walking inside once she finds it, she takes a seat on the left side in the front of the room near the window. She put her bag on the floor before she let out another sigh as she still felt tired from working and sleeping late. She looked outside the window and watch the birds flying around, the room are getting packed with people and noise filled her ears as they all started to gossip around with their group of friends. There is only one person who's like her, sitting quietly on her seat with an earpods while writing something on her notes not bothered with everyone who's making some noises as the music blasts on her ears, Choi Namra the class president who's always quiet but an intelligent one with straight A's on her marks. The girl are wearing their uniform with white long sleeve on the inside and some green long sleeve with a necktie tied into a ribbon and some skirts as her long hair are neatly falling on her back and side of the face.

It was after a few minutes when the teacher, Ms. Park walked inside the classroom as everyone take their respective seats. Shihyun stare at the front before taking her phone on her pocket and walked to the teachers desk and put her phone inside the box. Walking back at her seat she got a glimpse of the president's figure who's also walking back at her seat.

The lecture had began as the teacher began asking some questions, Hee Su lifted her hands and thinking that the girl would answer the question Ms. Park called her name only to feel a little disappointed as the girl wanted to excuse herself and go to the bathroom. The teacher calls for the president's name to answer it on which she did answer it correctly. Shi looked at the clock to see what time is it as her attention go back to the topic and on what's happening that makes everyone to laugh. It was about Suhyeok as everyone called him ‘ Bare Su’ saying that it was short for Barefoot Suhyeok as he likes to wear some shoes without socks and tease him that he stinks a lot.

Taking another glance at the clock, Shi lifted her hand on which caught everyone's attention. Ms. Park called for her asking what is it as the others fell in silence wanting to hear what she would say. Shi stand up on her feet as she looked at the teacher.

“ Ms. Park can i go out? I have an exam with the other Seniors on the other side of the building..” she said with her low and deep voice on which the others gasp a little upon hearing it as they find it really attractive and it's rare for her to talk unless it was something important. The teacher clicks her fingers when she heard her say that.

“ Oh! Yes i remember Ms. Jung saying that you're one of those students that will take the exam for the Advance Math subject, it's okay Shi you're already excuse and good luck on the exam” she said as she gives the girl a smile, the others are surprised at the information as they never knew that the girl are taking an advance subject with the seniors.

“ Holyshit!.. she's taking an advance math exam? Isn't that hard?”

“ I heard from the other seniors that it is though i didn't know she's taking it as well”

“ Woah she's so cool..”

Shihyun heard them all as she's packing her things on her bag before she bow at the teacher and quickly walked outside the room not noticing someone's eyes lingering on her back until she's out of sight.
