Prologue
When we're young, we're taught the distinction between a hero and a villain. Good and evil. A saviour and a lost cause. But what if the only real difference is just who's telling the story.
What if Maleficent was just tired of the discrimination and prejudice of being different. What if the Evil Queen didn't fall for the act of good looks. Who are we to judge the wolf for animal instinct or the White Witch for wanting a legacy. I mean sure Gaston was a sexist but he loved Belle. Who can really blame Mother Gothel for wanting youth - we all do. And why do we all blame Scar for wanting to be removed from his brother's shadow?
What if we only think of them as the villain because the author gave them a scary name and ugly appearance. What if they're just like us. Lonely and forgotten. Someone just needs to tell their story.
