Chapter 1
Hello my name is Amy. I’m gonna tell you a little bit about me. I’m 17 years old. I’m in my last year of high school at Valley High. I’m an only child and I live with my mom. Another thing about me is I am a bisexual meaning I am into both girls and boys. I am single right now because I’ve just been focusing on school. I walk everyday and sometimes I jog. Today I decided to jog because it’s been a while since I’ve jogged. I play my music in my headphones and make sure that my pepper spray is in my pocket as I leave the house.
I’m jogging down the sidewalk and I accidentally bump into someone. “Oh no I’m sorry.” I say bending down to pick up the person’s keys. He laughs softly and shakes his head. “No it’s ok it was my fault.” I giggle looking down, my face flushing. He looks beautiful and if I met him earlier we would be dating at least I hope. “My name is Chris, Can I buy you a coffee or something as an apology?” he asks, pointing towards the coffee shop next to us. I nod and whisper “Amy.” he smiles as we walk into the cafe together. We laugh and talk getting to know one another. I find out he’s in his first year of college and I tell him I’m in my last year of high school. I thank him for the coffee and we exchange numbers then go on our ways.
