The Spring i met you (book 1)

"Excellent read. I hope book 2 shows that Kaito and Zoe do get together as I think they complement each other. Seth finally let Zoe know his true feelings and stay being good friends. Having been in that type of situation and Zoe’s anger and frustration with Seth but still wanting to be friends is great"

More than just a romance!

"This is definitely the mother of all slow-burn romances! The author takes the time to create a lasting and meaningful relationship between the protagonists, Kaito and Zoe. You can really feel the emotional connection between the two despite their different upbringings and viewpoints. One thing I really loved was that both the MCs were flawed - it's easy as a writer to create perfect characters whereby readers will agree with all their opinions and choices, but the best authors can create characters who have truly imperfect human nature which both Kaito and Zoe had and work through together! I think ALL the characters in the book are well developed, which is so so hard to do - I'm thinking of the side characters here, such as Seth and Marie. At its core, it's a romance, but more than that, it's a book about self-realisation and growing up in your early twenties. I like that it's based in Japan and, the author does a really good job of showing the beauty of the culture through the scenic descriptions and the dialect used by Kaito (and later, Zoe!). All in all, a wonderful book that I highly recommend :)"

I am enjoying reading it.

"I enjoyed the first 19 chapters. I won't ruin it for others by saying why I laughed out loud reading Chapter 7 or why I fell for one of the main characters after his response in Chapter 11. I am confused about what common language all the students spoke though. I assumed French, which would make the storyline more plausible for me. I can't wait to see how the story ends."
