The Children of Icarus

“ It all started with icarus…”

“ well… that’s what I remember anyways. I think that’s how we got our wings.” “ Milvinea focus please!” “ okay okay I got it.

As I was saying…” Icarus and his father( Daedalus) were trying to escape Crete, no one knows why they were, but they were. Daedalus made a plan, the plan was to create wings to fly out.

Daedalus constructed a pair of wings out of wax and feathers, The sculpting and construction had taken a few days to create more. In a matter of time they were ready to leave, but before they could Icarus had Daedalus give a spare pair of wings to his wife. Daedalus had instrucked them to not fly too high, nor too low because the wings would get ruined.

In the middle of they’re flight they all stop on a small island to rest for a while. After there stop they were off again, but this time Icarus fell into the ocean and drowned, with this Zeus felt such pity for them and blessed them with real wings including the quadruplets he especially blessed them with powers of his favorite birds.

It was just Daedalus, Icarus’s wife (Marrideth), and all four of they’re children. They made it to a new land that had a small modern village .

In time Marrideth and Daedalus passed leaving just the children. The last thing that Daedalus had ever did was leave nectar, it is supposed to help the children adapt more to the environment over time and live longer.

“ Eeee ! This is where we come in!!” “ Tyto! Let me finish!” “Sorry! I’m just so excited! I like this part!” “Ahem!!! Can I finish?” “ sorry!” “ anyways…”

Through the century’s all four children stuck together and had each other’s backs.

Over time they’re wings camouflaged to look like tattoos, so when ever they would need them the wings would sprout out and the tattoos would disappears. They were still searching for a nice place to stay during this period when they stumbled upon an abandoned temple very close to the forest but near the village.

With enough money they moved into they’re new home, they’ve been there ever since. People did have they’re suspicions about them too.

Some people would do things like call them names, mess up the outside of the cathedral which would be a lot of work to clean, some would stumble inside, other times people would look at it as they’d pass by to find out if anyone actually lived in there, and some thought the temple was haunted.

The children took turns guarding and watching over the temple. They would go out shopping to get things they would need like food, clothes, furniture, or other things. They would be like regular people in the village’s eyes.

“ So how was that Tyto?” “Ooh! It was good!!” “Yeah it was good ‘cause you stopped interrupting me!” “Hey! I said that I was sorry!? What more do you want?!” “Tyto we are still in the prologue!” “Ooh… bye!”
